Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The family we stayed with was absolutely lovely! And they made the best breakfasts in the morning, better than in most cafes! 😜 Also, the view of the lake is beautiful from their garden.

NetherlandsThe shared bathroom was only cleaned after 4 days, even the trashbin for the toilet wasn't emptied out. There is a very big, nice kitchen, but we weren't allowed to use it unfortunately. In the end, they told us we can use it one time during our stay. I feel like you have to know how to handle kids, because they have 2 daughters who can easily get too comfortable with you and even try to dare you and being kinda rude.
The house is pretty and the view from the terrace over the lake is great. The included breakfast is very good as well! It's a family house, and there's some friendly family members and some a bit less friendly.

United StatesThe facilities are VERY rustic. Guillermo's could be great with a bit investment of time and a little bit of money. The showers were very rough and not very clean, there was a lack of running water, and the rooms are barebones with no decor to speak of and only a single bulb in a ceiling socket for light. A bit of effort and this place could be great.
Melissa, the owner, was friendly and very helpful. She was great, and in all honesty, saved the deal for us. She was knowledgeable, sweet, and accessible.
