Everything was perfect!

I loved this hostel. I stayed in the female dorm and it is so spacious and clean. The en suite bathroom and the huge window to the rooftop terrace make it really comfortable. There are two nice rooftop terraces and they offer yoga mats as well. The views of the volcanoes are spectacular. But really outstanding was the team. They were so friendly and helpful!

Nothing - it was superb!

Is this the best hostel in Guatemala? I was so comfortable here, the staff are just delightful (Rodrigo and Jennifer) and the beds are private and comfortable, with privacy curtains. A delicious heathy breakfast, rooftop hangout area and a cafe on site, coworking space... it's just perfect!

Nothing. We loved everything.

One of the best hostels we have stayed in. We stayed here on two separate occasions. The staff are genuinely so lovely and will go above and beyond for you. On our second visit we had left our AirPods on the volcano Acetenago and the lady at the desk went above and beyond to help us find them, offered us possible transport options, and even offered to connect with local agencies to get them delivered back to us. Every single staff member was very welcoming a and kind. We also noticed the staff chatting to solo travellers when they were alone and giving travellers great suggestions for activities, transport etc. They have a suggestion list of restaurants that were great we ate a lot of the suggested places and they did not disappoint. The breakfast is the best free breakfast we’ve ever had. We had a fresh bagel with salsa, beans and cream cheese. We also enjoyed a granola bowl with fresh fruit, chia seeds, honey, purée apple which was lush. They also offer a takeaway breakfast if you are leaving the hostel super early, this consists of a fresh ciabatta with cream cheese and a banana which was delicious. We also sampled the coffee and cakes which were beautiful and reasonably priced. We did laundry twice here which was very fast and decent price ! The beds were very private and extremely clean. The showers were lovely and warm too. On our second visit the upgraded us to a smaller dorm for our comfort. Most amazing value for money here I definitely recommend for all types of travellers. Lots of different chill out zones (2 terraces and a chill patio downstairs), yoga mats are free to rent if you are in to that. Great chilled out vibe!

There were multiple communal areas to work and to chill. It was always clean and tidy. The breakfast included was really good and tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpful beyond measures. They also safely stored my luggage, which is a big plus when traveling. The beds and bathroom facilities were comfortable and private. The WIFI was of high-quality and stable to work as a digital nomad. The hostel was away from the busy, noisy center square. They assist with shuttles and with tours and any another information you might need.

My experience at Hostel Bloom has been outstanding, beyond my expectations. Customer service is excellent : Before I arrived, they answer all my questions and provided suggestions for things to do in town, help me arrange transportation to the hostel and helped me booking my hike to Acatenango. Once I arrived, everyone has been sweet, attentive and welcoming. The beds comfortable, the facilities clean and all well organized. The rooftop and garden are cozy. Breakfast was provided every morning, coffee is delicious and well priced. They have a small menu for food items and drinks. Everything I needed for my stay. A local guide for a walking tour, laundry services, storage unit. They are walking distance to the main sights and shops. I will come back.

This is one of the most beautiful hostels I've ever stayed in! The common areas are amazing and so peaceful (especially after we had just arrived from the Acatenango hike) and the rooms are so comfortable. Everything is very new and they have thought of all little details. The staff were very kind and helpful with all requests/recommendations. And the included breakfast couldn't have been better (they even prepared us a packed option when we left early on our last morning). Thank you so much Bloom - we would 100% recommend!

I stayed there several times on this trip, by going to other places and coming back to the same hostel. I found this place to be the best place to stay due to its cleanliness, extremely friendly staff and location. The place is barely 2 months old and kept it in excellent condition.

Everything was above expectations.

The best part of the stay was the front desk lady Jenni and the manager Rodrigo who went above and beyond to help me in planning my future trip within the country, including the shuttle services and other tours. The location was ideal. It was at the other end of the city, not part of the center of loudness. Breakfast was excellent. Couple of times when I had to leave early morning, the staff packed me a breakfast early in the morning, made it to go.

Just a small point of improvement. In the upstairs dorm you can hear the bass of the music quite good during the day.

This hostel is very clean. They clean the bathrooms at least two times a day. The staff of bloom hostel is super friendly. They help you with everything you need. Breakfast is included and if you need an early breakfast they will prepare a lunchbox for you. Really enjoyed my stay.

It’s brand new and it shows! It was very clean and beautiful. They accidentally overbooked the dorm I was in and made it right by upgrading me; such a great service! The front desk was so helpful and sweet, spending time telling me things to do and restaurants to go to. My only feedback would be to improve breakfast- I love a free breakfast but it was just a “bagel” with a very small amount of cream cheese that wasn’t enough for the two pieces of bread. The to-go breakfast for my early morning hike day was cure with a personalized little note! It was the sweetest surprise.

Mattress did feel a bit uncomfortable but other than that perfect stay

The staff were all so friendly, Rodrigo (I might have forgotten his name correctly) & Jennifer were so nice and talked to all the guests, learning their names it was so nice. The cleaners as well were so friendly working round the clock to keep the hostel is such a good state. Even the night guards were super friendly! There are many nice outside spaces for people sit & chill & look at the volcanos which is amazing. The breakfast was amazing & there were loads of lovely hot drinks options. The location is a little out of the centre but not by much only a 10-15 min walk. Many good food & drinks places near by cannot recommend enough !

The location is about 15 min walk from el Parque Central which is not far but not the closest. Also the bathroom seat/lid was broken in our room. The temperature of shower was also a bit difficult to control (it was either too hot or too cold).

It was very clean and quiet, staff was very kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The second floor terrace was so cozy and was a perfect place to relax and sunbathe with the view of volcan de Acatenango/fuego. I would definitely stay again if I come back to Antigua!

The hostel just recently opened. It is super clean, everything is new, the bed was very comfy, the staff was so helpful and friendly with all my questions about shuttles, tours etc. the property has a beautiful courtyard and two lovely rooftop terraces (perfect for yoga ☺️). They allow to store luggage during the 2-day hike and use the shower afterwards even if you do not stay with them anymore. Included breakfast varies every day. Has a coworking space, games to play and library as well.

Bloom are very new and their staff couldn’t be more hospitable. Huge shout out to Rodrigo who arranged a private room for a day since there was a glitch in the system while booking the dorms. I stayed in the dorms for the other days. Super super clean, lovely terraces with views of the volcano. Breakfast is included with the booking which is super generous! The whole place is great value for money and I highly recommend it. Great music and a very chill vibe :) Also their blankets are really comfy!

The music starts early morning.

New hostel, that is clean and comfortable. The beds have curtains for privacy and to block light which allows others to use the room light without bothering anyone! The breakfast was excellent, fresh and healthy!

If you’re a light sleeper make sure you don’t have the private room next to the street. Cars were passing by at literally three meters next to my bed. On the cobble stones. Couldn’t sleep the entire night. Also the breakfast was poor. Just a bagel with some cream and tomatoes.

Clean, new hostel. Great staff, they helped me pick the tours out of Antigua. The hostel is located just outside the busy center which is nice.

I think the hostel could have offered a bit more variety for breakfast. they packed the same thing for me everyday. The showers were lukewarm, I would have appreciated if the water was hotter. The location is also a bit far from the centre of town. I was charged a fee to pay for my stay with my card

The hostel was new when I stayed there in March. I loved the facilities - there was a lot of common areas to relax and unwind. There was also two rooftops. I was in a mixed 10 bedroom dorm and my bed featured a curtain which provided privacy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I attended Spanish classes which started at 8am, the same time as breakfast, the staff packed me breakfast to go. The hostel let me shower after I got back from the Acatenango Hike and was meant to have checked out - I was so dirty therefore really appreciated the kindness of the staff who even provided me with a towel.

The noise from the streets. There should be at least some good sound cancelling windows because it was too intense.
