I had a fabulous stay and the family who run the place are lovely. I was unwell when I arrived and had made an error when I booked, thinking I had a bathroom. They graciously put me in a lovely room with a bathroom. The balcony has a hammock and chair to relax on. The location is a skip and hop to the baseball court/library/sombrero calle. Very convenient to restaurants, tienda, art studios and weaving studios etc. A truly perfect place to stay. Highly recommended...

I wasn’t able to check in on time as they hadn’t finished cleaning my room yet and the place had a musty smell.

The value of this place can’t be beat. It’s close to the Calle de sombreros too.

The women who greeted me were all super friendly and even let me check in early. The room was a great size, extremely clean and had everything you need for a couple of nights stay.

it's all good. if you want to be picky: a bit noisy, and bedsheets are not properly fitted. But hey, this is budget accommodation, isn't it?

Friendly owner, indigena. Good location (on arrival: 10Q Tuktuk with luggage, afterwards easy strolls to anywhere. Decent sized room. Hot water (the trick is to open the tap just a little, the showerhead heats the water while it's running through, as all over centroamerica. One just needs to know so disregard the negative comments about the water).

Please note the front door is not signed, however upon arrival, if you knock on the outside brown door (pictured) someone will come to let you in. When paying for my stay, they didn't refer to my booking.com confirmed price. I only ended up paying a small amount extra, but nonetheless it would be good if they ensured you were only paying the price you agreed to upon booking

The family were so friendly and welcoming; the location; size, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms (including a TV and streaming services!), the security of the property, the comfortable hammock outside each room, private shower facilities, great wifi and overall excellent value stay :)

It can be a little noisy, however just as much as any other part of the town! It is not easy to find, as there is no signage outside, you just have to trust your map! :)

Hosts are just amazing! They helped me arrange a shuttle bus and they were super helpful with all the questions I had! The room was massive, clean and beds were comfortable.

There wasn't warm water - it's not a big problem during the summer.

The room is advertised with 2 beds and I thought I would share with someone else., but their intention was to rent out the whole room - so it was great! The host was super friendly and supportive - she hooked me up with people / guides I was looking for, and we had nice chats every day. Delicious coffee in the morning. I decided to stay an additional day and because the rooms were full, she offered me an alternative room that she wasn't renting out. The views from the terrace are amazing. Overall, I loved my stay and I would stay again.

The staff were very lovely and accommodating. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Great location to get to the Mirador Kasaqiiwaan and everything else is in walking distance. I was ill during my stay so didn't do much.

It took me a while to find the place because it's not on Google Maps, but more importantly, there are also NO signs. Had to ask around a bit, and it doesn't help that the name is so generic. They also have construction going on outside, so while the terrace is gorgeous, you can't really relax or have a peaceful moment there - at least not until it's dark and the crew has left.

Great location, walking distance to the city centre and the terrace has some of the best views in town. The hosts are also very friendly and helpful. They let me keep my stuff and take a shower, till my room was ready for me to check-in. The kitchen is quite well-equipped, if you need to cook. I had a great time!

No hot water :( and the roof is being worked on right now. I didn't mind because you can still sit up there, but some cushions for the seats would be great.

Perfect for hiking indian nose. The place is exactly where Google says it is but the owner came and got me anyway to walk me. Despite the language barrier she was super helpful. They have some construction going on in the yard so there's a few people about and some noise but not really a big deal. Great location, but a tough walk with your stuff from the boat. I had no idea about the San Juan hill. I was able to use the kitchen and the fridge and the roof too. Super comfy and clean bed, really great room for just myself.
