Great location, georgeous gardens, lovely staff, nice breakfast served until 11. The only thing - really an English club style, so very quiet and more for 55+ people... we arrived with tattoes and motorbikes and I felt like in Dirty Dancing movie 😂😂😂

It’s a long way from New Zealand but worth it! Very relaxing.

A large and comfortable resort. Several accommodation buildings most only 2 levels with master bedroom and lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. Your own outside deck covered and sheltered for privacy. The swimming pools were fabulous, a large pool in a large grass lawn surrounded by palms and flowering trees. Then the best was the near Olympic size pool in a building with a close able roof. Large deck chairs and Grecian art work on the walls with large doors leading out to a long patio. Also available massage and wellness centre and a fitness gym. Also a tennis court. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Nothing was any trouble. A separate breakfast and dining room open to the marvellous beach. Would recommend 100%. Located in Acharavi, North Corfu.

This is a gorgeous place right near a long pebble/ sandy beach with a breathtaking view of the mountains. It's surrounded by blooming gardens, there's also an outdoor pool, spa and a quite large indoor pool. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, the place is very well managed. I feel thankful to have found this corner of paradise.

There are no negatives to note. All in all this was one of my most enjoyable holiday trips ever experienced in my lifetime. I travelled with my young adult niece, both of us in need of complete relaxation on the beautiful island of Corfu. St George's Bay Country Club, I miss you all so very much. Thank you sincerely for everything in making our stay truly memorable.

My recent holiday at St George's Country Club and Spa was one of the best vacation trips ever in my life for many reasons. Firstly the entire staff working here deserve praise and thanks for their seamless service. Friendly, approachable, sensitive to individual needs, and superb at delivering their 5 star service. The beautiful location is breath taking, especially the seafront Propero restaurant where a leisurely breakfast is served. Sitting here at breakfast with the sound of the waves and the beautiful view of the bay is infact one of the most treasurable memories for me. I cannot thank the dining staff enough for their outstanding attention to my every whim. Food is of the highest quality with excellent menu and wine list. We enjoyed our evening meals so very much, excellent value indeed. The vast grounds are stunningly beautiful with so many different varieties of tropical flowering plants, trees and flora of Corfu. A stroll through the banana trees walkway, finding shade with their large lush leaves overhead is awesome. The swimming pool surpassed expectation. It is deep with no shallow end, perfect to cool down and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the establishment. Our superior 2 bedroom suite accommodated us perfectly. Both bedrooms opened up onto a very large terrace with an open view of green space outside the side perimeter of the grounds. Very quiet and sunny. Appreciated the mosquito net secondary doors. We weren't bothered by mosquitos at all. The shower room was fabulous, powerful shower and hot water at all times. Our maid Elizabet, such a lovely lady. Towels and bed linen wow, crisp clean fresh smelling cotton. There is a short cut to the village through the carpark side gate and the walk to nearest supermarket only a matter of 5 mins. The Ivy Spa is fabulous and surpassed my expectation with state of the art gymnasium, choice of treatments, and large salt water swimming pool with retractable sunroof. My massages were the best!

The only down side and although it’s a “Private beach” you still have to pay for sunbeds, it wasn’t a big deal for us, but it would have been a nice touch. breakfast a little monotonous, however also wasn’t a big deal for us.

Property is very Clean and tidy the rooms the grounds , the staff were very friendly and attentive Pool area was very nice and the beach too. You could always get a sunbed.

We enjoyed the music at the bar in first evening, but the rest of the days not so lively! Maybe more events at the bar would make it even more appealing!

Excellent location, everything was in a short 2 minutes walk: from the room too the beach to the pool, restaurant and bar! Very nice and attentive staff always talking care of your privacy! The restaurant was also very nice with excellent food and wine! Really enjoyed this sea holiday!

I have really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, really peaceful and welcoming. It is in a really nice location (just next to the beach) and has great facilities (2 swimming pools, gym and spa). Really loved also the room with the living room and kitchen. We booked it last minute as our initial hotel got cancelled, but St. George Country Club has exceeded my expectations and helped me relax.

We want to write this review because it was our first visit to the Hotel. All the good things we read about before arriving at the hotel were true and even more. If your priorities are safety, refinement, a calm atmosphere, then this is the right place. We were with adult children and our priorities were a safe area, without small children crying around (sorry for the frankness), a pool and quick access to a private beach. As well as air conditioning in the rooms and not miniature toilet rooms with showers. The gardens around are unique. Tropical flowers and trees that are cared for around the clock. The pool outside with fresh water is a miracle. The sea is wonderful. Small things that are really important are perfectly thought out. The hotel has permanent club members and I understand why. This is our choice for the coming years. The staff is very attentive, polite and educated. Everyone speaks German and English. It's wonderful. Separately, I must say that the general manager Theodore is a very kind and sensitive person. He will pay attention to details and help you at any time. He is a true professional in his field. We can say this as we ourselves work in the hotel business in Scotland. The hotel justly deserves four stars and there are very few such hotels in Corfu. Restaurant Prospero is very good. I want to note once again that all the employees of the reception, spa, restaurant, housekeeping, maintenance did not leave us indifferent and gave us a sincere feeling of comfort and reliability. Unfortunately, we do not remember the names, but we sincerely thank you. To some extent, I would like this hotel to not have too many visitors :) I want to keep this corner of paradise to myself. We hope to come to you again.

If i have to say anything: It's very focussed on German people. Communication comes automatically in German, we used Google translate to understand. Shower and furniture in the room can be updated. These things didn't bother us at all, we had a wonderful stay.

The very nice garden all around the facility and pool, there's always a lot of space at the pool and the staff is very nice.

The beach next to the resort is not the best one can find in Corfu. It's a mix of pebbles and sand, and quite windy. But there are lovely sandy beaches 10 minutes away from the location (by car)
