I travel a lot and usually have very high standards when it comes to where I stay — Provalma Suites met them 100%. This is a beautiful family-run hotel, and you can feel the difference right away. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They introduced themselves when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the whole place felt peaceful and well cared for. They also gave us great tips about what to see and do on the island, which really helped us enjoy our time there. What really stood out was how much they cared: when we had a problem with our car on a Sunday, they helped us find the right people to fix it — even though they didn’t have to. That kind of support means a lot when you’re far from home. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed, not just in Greece, but anywhere. I would absolutely come back.

Everything was perfect.

Amazing views of the whole island and also the surrounding rock islands of Kardiotissa and Sikinos island. Relaxing views from the edge of the big swimming pool. Calm and quiet surroundings perfect for holidays and recharging. Polite and knowledgeable stuff. Family owned boutique Hotel with attention to details. Yannis the owner is everything you need to help you explore the island with his spot on recommendations on restaurants and also car rental and activities on Folegandros. Family and stuff taking care of the beautiful gardens around the property and pool. Breakfast is awesome. Home made pies coffee juice and unlimited selection from a list given the previous day. Convenient / complimentary transfer to/from the port .

An incredible breakfast, a breathtaking view, wonderful hosts, stunning rooms - truly one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed in. Didn't want to leave - couldn't recommend it more. Also the location was gorgeous overlooking chora and the sea. So affordable for how special this place is. Book it and you won't regret!!

There is no food at the hotel (no kitchen).there are restaurants at 10 minutes walking distance, so it's not really a problem.

Aleka came to pick us up at the port. The location is outstanding. The view from provalma puts you at piece with the world. So dramatic (in a nice way), you can't wake up in a bad mood with that view. Breakfast was great. The room tidy and clean (Luis cleans it everyday). There are only 5 rooms (I think), so it's a quiet and peaceful place. It's 4 km from the main town, but very close to a village with tasty restaurants and access to paths which lead down to the beach. I think we were in love with Folegandros and Provalma!

Excellent location on a quiet part of the island but easy to get to all the touristy places you may want to go. Lodging was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Views are jaw dropping.

Beautiful views of the sea and the mountains. Nicely designed rooms, clean. Nice pool to relax in. Good location, although you would need a car/scooter to get around. Very nice and helpful hotel staff, free transfer from port. Wonderful breakfast brought to your room. Overall a wonderful stay!

Provalma in Ano Meria was a beautiful location to settle in for a few days on Folegandros. The room was equipped with a small kitchen & items necessary to cook & make coffee. We were served breakfast in our room each morning that consisted of choices we made from their menu of mostly cold items like yogurts, cereal, fruit, cold cuts, cheese. Boiled egg, savory pastry, fresh OJ, milk & coffee were served as well. Beach towels & separate pool towels were provided. The views were beautiful with the ability to see both sides of the island/sea… though we were unable to see the sunsets from this location. A free pickup & return to the port were both provided. A car/scooter is needed to explore or go to restaurants.

Booking reported a fully equipped kitchen, but lacked items such as pots, pans, kettle so that one could possibly dine in the room. Anyway is just a small note that did not affect the vacation

The room was very comfortable and quiet. The swimming pool was a plus. The owner was friendly and very helpful. The view of the two coasts and the chora was amazing. Breakfast had a wide choise.

Because the hotel is a bit out of town, you need to hire a car to get around. However, this also means that the hotel enjoys maximum tranquility. We really didn't want to leave! 😊
