Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe were only provided with one key and this was attached to a card which worked the electricity. A spare key would have been very helpful. Also, it would have been nice to be able to go out and leave the washing machine on rather than have the cycle ‘paused’ when the power cut off because the key card was removed. The sofa bed was set up behind a screen in the kitchen. It would have been better if it was in the living room area. Ventilation in the bathroom was poor. There was only one sharp knife and we couldn’t find a chopping board.
The flat is right be the sea and a promenade of bars and restaurants. It has nice views across a car park to the castle and, through a gap in the buildings, to the sea. There is a balcony. Parking was free and easy to find. The beds were comfortable and the flat was neutrally furnished.

GreeceThe exterior of the building was not luxury at all. Quite old and run down. For this reason, we believed we had arrived at the incorrect address. We had to buy batteries for the remote control in one of the rooms, the hanger for the washing was broken and rusty and tied to the balcony with old cloths. We could not find the ironing board and the iron was old something out of the 60's. There was only one set of keys for 6 people. There was no doorbell at the building and inside the apartment. We had to rely on our mobile phones and somebody always had to go downstairs to open the door for another. We were also given 1 set of towels for each and no spares. The shower was modern but had no door, and we each had to mop the shower for the next person. We were also unable to raise the sun reflectors on the balcony when there was a breeze. The small toilet had a shower hose but no room to shower. There was a general lack of attention to detail, including old sugar and no handwash in the smaller toilet. Given its title and price, we would have at least expected the basics like filtered coffee and fresh sugar. We felt the price we paid was not for a luxury apartment.
The location was convenient, close to shops and restaurants along the beach. We chose to swim elsewhere because the beach didn't appear clean but nevertheless you could still relax on a lounge chair, have a drink or eat by the beach. The apartment inside was clean and spacious with a television in each bedroom and the living room. The kitchen was spacious and had two toilets and a laundry, which was very convenient, especially for larger groups of people. Each bedroom, the kitchen, and the living room had an air conditioner, which, given the heat, was a welcomed relief. There was always hot water available for showering. There was also useful information such as the telephone for ambilance hospitals, taxis, takeout, etc

GreeceI was displeased with the fact that I had booked an apartment with a balcony and seaview, and I got one with view of a parking lot!!!! I couldn't open the keybox when we arrived as it had jammed. And I couldn't get hold of the host. Also, he never bothered to get in touch with me even after I sent him a message telling him the keybox didn't work properly. Despite this, our stay was great and the apartment is very nice.
The apartment is at a great location in the town. Just a step away from the beach and conveniently located. It's been recently renovated and in very good condition. It was very clean and well upkept. The sheets, towels and bed linen were all in clean and fresh. Great for a family.

United StatesThe only thing has nothing to do with the room, but the beach nearby didn't look clean enough to swim in.
I loved the spacious rooms, the comfortable beds, the kitchen, the balcony and the marble clean bathroom with washing machine that was a big plus! Great location near the beach and great restaurants/cafes! Walking distance to Limani! I also liked the fact that the apartment building had an elevator that helped with luggage.

CanadaThis was not a problem for us. This is an apartment building where locals live. Loud noises and cooking smells can be part of living in an apartment.
This was the perfect location in Nafpaktos. It was right next to the boardwalk and close to all the stores. It was large enough for our family of four. We were there during a heatwave and the air conditioners saved us.

LithuaniaI wouldn’t call it luxury, the apartment is okay, but some maintenance might be useful. The bed and the doors make noise when you use it. Also it would be useful to have some essentials like a cutting knife, a cutting board, a wine opener and etc at the apartment.
The location was very good, very close to the beach and with a walking distance to the old town.

AustraliaThe apartments are situated in an old building (with a very dated entrance) and are luxuriously set up internally but badly designed (bathroom with laundry....spare toilet had shower fittings in a cramped space) and may be it hasn't been completely finished as the shower had no cover and the water splashed all over the bathroom/laundry.
No breakfast. Good location. Excellent luxurious internal set up.

AustraliaAs above
Nothing…,. The apartment itself wasn’t too bad but the foyer and general building stunk of urine and not well maintained. The lift to the apartment was very unsafe nor were the steps to go upstairs with luggage. We paid for a Seaview room and got a view from the veranda of a car park. I would not recommend staying at this property.

United KingdomCould not think of anything I did not like
The location of the property is ideal. Close to Gribovos Beach where some of the Nafpaktos's most popular cafes and restaurants are located. A medium size supermarket is just 3 minutes away. Andreas is a great host, he was accessible and he was very happy to answer all our questions. The flat is very clean, recently refurbished, all appliances (cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, air-condition units) look brand new. The beds are king size and super comfortable.

CanadaVery old property with outdated furniture. Broken down building, under construction, super noisy drilling and banging noises early morning. Booked 3 nights and canceled as soon as we arrived. Wifi booster wasn’t working, sofas were dirty and stained, bathroom rugs were old and ripped, hair in the shower, coffee maker and other appliances very dirty and old or damaged. Do not recommend. This is definitely NOT a luxury suite. Been traveling Greece for 1 month and haven’t had a problem until now. Location is good but but elsewhere.

BelgiumThe unit has one bedroom and a second bed in the kitchen, not 2 bedrooms. The interieur feels like it is filled with second hand furniture. The fridge and air conditioning can only be turned on whilst being in the apartment because of a keycard attached to the keys. Therefor no food or drinks could be stored, and you come back in an oven instead of an cooled apartment. Instructions for the key pickup (written in Greek) points to a local bar. This bar stopped providing this service months before, because of the poor service and the many complaints about the facilities. (Their words) The owner is verbally aggressive with no sense of how to provide service. The accommodation in nothing like advertised and certainly not luxury. There are hotels in the same area for a far better price and with better facilities. This is not the kind of experience you want on a holiday. Better to choose a care-free unit
proximity to the beach. Close to shops and restaurants.

Luxury apartment next to the beach in the center of Nafpaktos. In the apartment I had everything I needed. CanadaMultiple things: 1. The apartment was freezing. No heat on. No owner pre prep . Took 14 hrs to get 2 of the 5 spaces functionally warm enuf so we could take our jackets and hoodies off . No heat source in the bathroom! 2. Entry inside door handle fell off upon entry 3. No wifi. Excuses given from owner that were in conflict with the neighbours response re wifi status 4. Bathroom shower door handle fell off when trying to open one of the 2 sliding doors to exit the shower 5. The shower wand vertical support holder came loose making it necessary to hold the wand vs having it hang off the wall. 6. The bed & vanity table ( make up table) were too large for the room making movement from one side of the bed to the other very difficult ( See Pics ). 7. A foul smell in the lounge & hall way made it impossible to be in these areas. 8. It was still freezing at midnight, 5 hours after we entered . To stay warm we went to bed in our street clothes and used 3 large woollen blankets to keep warm over night 9. Neither bed had been made. The bedsheets were decoratively displayed on top of the mattress , requiring the beds to be made up! 10. WATER VIEWS ? The only water view visible was if you stepped out onto the balcony & leaned heavily to the East. . Otherwise the views were of the mtn range with the Venetian castle in the distant foreground & the empty parking lots directly below the balcony. 11. The owner/ agent never made an appearance to ck on the heat, wifi or broken door fixtures. 12. One of the kitchen chair’s joints came loose causing my partner to fall off the chair . Although He attempted to rejoin the pieces more attn is required to ensure the chair’s future stability. 13. I DESERVE A REFUND . 14. THIS APARTMENT SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR PROMOTIONAL INVENTORY UNTIL THE OWNER PROVIDES PROPER HEATING FOR WINTER RENTALS AND MAKES THE NECESSARY REPAIRS …

United KingdomApt 301 none of the below effected or spoiled our stay. They are just suggested improvements. Given tag luxury only two pillows on the bed and no spares found, lucky enough was two bedroom apartment so used the other bedroom's pillows. Neither toilet seat was correctly fitted had come loose and not been refitted correctly . Some interior decor loose paint where the former coatings had given way. Bedside Sockets behind the bed so not easy to access also not easy to plug in and just singles so phone charger and lamps couldn't be used together. No chopping board found in kitchen or fish slice spatula for use with frying pan . Exterior light outside bedroom on balcony not working. Front door interior handle can come off in your hand
Lovely spacious apartment, great balcony to enjoy looking down to the see, relatively well equipped so everything you need. You can see recently renovated with bathroom and kitchen modern designs. Highly recommended.
