Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Romania-The bathrooms are in serious need of renovation. The shower has a curtain but the bathroom gets flooded everytime you try to shower and it’s also very small. The toiler paper holder kept falling out of the wall everytime you touched it. - VERY limited parking: we booked this hotel especially cause it is advertised it has free parking but the actual parking is a lot with 10 spots while the hotel has over 50 rooms and everyone has a car. The parking was always full. There is a paid parking option available near by but the cost is 10 euro per day. Please pay attention if you are coming by car.
-Excellent location, right in the centre of Nydri, near s lot of restaurants and shops. -Clean -The hotel has its own mini beach

RomaniaCleaning should be improved, the bed linen and towels sbould be replaced (they are worn out and stained with a bad smell) and furniture should be fixed or replaced. The door's lock was broken, you could hear everything from the hallway...
It's positioning is wonderful, offers parking. The restaurant area is a dream, right on the beach with big old trees covering the tables, a dream.

AlbaniaThe wifi was bad. Most of the time we had no connection at all. The shower and bathroom were small and needed renovations.
My room had sea view balcony and it was amazing, but the 2 other rooms my family had it wasn't that good. The rooms were ok with some small improvements needed. The staff was kind.

United KingdomYou are not allowed to go in the swimming pool with sun screen on without showering first, yet there was no shower. So if you want to use sun screen you will have to use the beach. They also try to charge hotel guests 5 euros to use their sunbeds on the beach. I don't know if this is common in Greece.
Breakfast was adequate, continental style. The access to the beach was great and the tree covered large patio area a fabulous place to eat breakfast and have drinks or a meal. The restuarant was one of the best we tried in Nidri, I especially liked the Lamb chops.

RomaniaI didn't like that there is no signal in the rooms, at least in the building that we stayed in (the one next to the pool). Even though there was wifi in the rooms, it did not work. Very very bad wifi if you need it. If you want to rest until after 9 am, mention that you DO NOT a room next to the pool. The activity starts at 7.30 am with the kids jumping in it. 😂🙈
I like that the hotel was really close to the beach, the staff was very nice and kind and the location of the hotel gave us the opportunity to go eat in the old town of Nidri and also the port.

United KingdomThe room was very basic and certainly not as pictured. Typically Greek studio type, wires on the walls, cut off pipes, holes in the wall etc. Hand held shower, drain that leaked water when next door flushed the toilet. I don’t care about any of that, except the drain but it’s not what I expected from the picture of the room or the hotel description. The service was charmless tbh. The hotel does an ‘all inclusive (ahem)’ deal for a Czech travel company. It’s AI but not as we know it. Unfortunately it affects the way everyone else is dealt with. AI ends at 10pm and the bar started to close at 10pm. Not much good when you come back for an early night and a night cap! Food has to be ordered at the bar. You clear your own breakfast. Small stuff but they weren’t overly busy. Pool,is in shade
The balcony and the view made it worth every Penny. Outstanding views, great location on the beach and a short stroll to the marina and main restaurant and bar area. People here complaining about breakfast but it’s a Greek continental breakfast plus eggs, and other than I’d have liked feta and olives, personally, it was good value at €5. Coffee was surprisingly good. Initial contact from the staff before I arrived was very good indeed. And very reassuring as I was arriving later than expected. Location on the beach fab, good beds and shade, all included.

AustraliaUnfortunately, the room and service was unsatisfactory and staying at Delphini was an unpleasant experience. As per cleanliness, the sheets were stained with what appeared to be a blood stain, and the cups had crumbs inside them. There was no rubbish bin in the room, only a bin with a dirty broken lid in the bathroom that should be primarily used for disposing of toilet paper. The pillows were stained yellow. The plastic chair on the balcony was broken. The glasses were dirty along with the single mug in the room. As per practicality, the shower was very poor. Needs an immediate upgrade. Only one little dim light in the bathroom was working. The shower curtain was also inadequate, so much that a large amount of water leaked from the shower, which was dangerous when exiting the shower. The false advertising of the hotel also extended to the wifi, with it not operating throughout the hotel. The walls are paper thin so expect to hear your neighbours all through the night. Unfortunately, the staff were also unhelpful, always blaming something else or someone else rather than being accountable for their actions. Although they did change the sheets when we asked them and noticed the general cleaning standard had improved after day 2. It is highly recommended to avoid staying at this hotel due to the aforementioned issues. Also remember to bring your own body wash and shampoo as the only thing offered in this hotel is 2 little bars of soap. I had two rooms booked at this hotel and the other room had similar issues minus the broken chair.
Location, next to the beach.

United KingdomThe shower but it’s quite typical in Greece and in fairness, there was enough room to manoeuvre without the curtain touching you!
The room had everything that we needed and we was right at the top with lovely sea and Mountain Views. No kettle but maybe on request but the room had a fridge, decent air con, good hairdryers, a decent size balcony and it was very clean. The host was very friendly and accommodating!
