Location was perfect, away from all the crowds. I absolutely loved the view and plunge pool, didn’t want to leave. Our host was fantastic too! She was very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. Couldn’t recommend here enough.

    We loved everything.

The villa itself is beautiful and the location is great. Even though you are right on a main walkway it is quiet inside. The kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook some meals at home. Once we figured out the area we found free parking that was within only a few minutes walk.

The property had major electrical and plumbing issues. The biggest issue was we had no running water for almost a full day. There is an emergency light downstairs that randomly turns on and off (we were told this is normal, I looked up the manual-it is not), we stayed in the upstairs bedroom but if you had 4 people this would be an issue for the downstairs bedroom. The Jacuzzi is not heated and the jets didn't work, plus it randomly starts making incredibly loud sucking noises (we were told this was from the wind and that it couldn't be turned off. It actually was from the water being too low but they had no way to fill it. I ended up filling it one night with ~40L of water by carrying them up from the kitchen in 1L bottles). The downstairs bathroom smells like sewage, if you don't keep the fan on 24/7 it stinks up the entire kitchen. The toilet started flushing constantly one day, this was the only time someone came out to address anything. As beautiful as this place is I would never stay here again.

We loved our stay. Happy with the location. This place was so unique, which drew attention from passerby’s. View was phenomenal. Jacuzzi was great, seating area outside was great, views great. We picked up take out and ate outside

Wifi was poor, possibly due to the area/infrastructure, do not rely on it. Some type of alarm due to inconsistent electrical supply?, which consisted of strobing lights on the lower level. There was no fan in the bedroom downstairs, so it was close the door and overheat or try to cover eyes and ears. It was a long night of no sleep for a member of our group. Plumbing was somewhat temperamental. But quick showers and only had water on when needed.

The Windmill Villa is stunning, but unfortunately it is let down by the manager and electric power issues.

We booked a 3 night stay at the Windmill Villa and for 2 of those nights we did not have any power/electric. I checked the fuse board and nothing had tripped so Mr Nikos arranged a handyman to fix the problem. We didn’t have power for 3 hours! I asked Mr Nikos what I should do to fix it if it happened again and he said it won’t happen again. The following evening the power went again! This meant my mother had to go to a fancy restaurant with wet hair! Mr Nikos said that he had fixed the power by 20.10, however when we got home at 22.19 there was no power, so the villa was pitch black! We stayed waiting outside of the villa for our own safety due to the steep steps in the villa and not having any lights/power. Mr Nikos turned up about half hour later and fixed the problem. This time he showed me what to do if it happened again (there is a switch on the outside of the villa that he flicked back on). Why he didn’t just tell me in the first place I do not know! Mr Nikos tried to blame the electrical fault on us! (Even though this time we hadn’t been in the villa when the power went again!) and the time before I was sat on my bed and my mother was sat on the chair doing her make up, we were both not using any power! When booking . com reached out to the Windmill Villa he tried to blame the power loss on the island as a whole! Why would he have got a handyman out twice if it was the whole island without power…! And how could the restaurant still be cooking food if there was no power across the island! He tried to blame us saying it must be our plug adaptors or American electrical products (we are British and do not have any American electrical products). He told me there has never been electrical problems before but then admitted he had only been managing it for 2 weeks. Mr Nikos remained completely unapologetic the whole time! We had 2 evenings ruined out of the 3 that we were saying in the Villa. It caused us distress and ruined our holiday.

Sensational views and a very unique and beautiful property. the position is perfect and accessible for amenities. A private parking is a short distance away, with reasonable rates. The only flaw for me was the height of each step, but overall a fabulous stay!

Very well considered. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped.

A bit better understanding regarding scheduling: 1. Meeting the Hosts, 2. Breakfast Location/Time 3. Cleaning Days/Time. None if these were really any trouble, we're already thinking of visiting again soon, only longer.

This is a hidden gem! We loved the place very much. Imorevigli is even more beautiful than Fira or Oia, but much less people.

    Nothing.

It’s a converted Windmill with three levels and everything you could possibly need available at your disposal. The position is simply superb and your host Maria is a legend! Her restaurant / dining and beach club recommendations were the best I have experienced from anyone I have made enquiries from in 3 months of travelling around Greece (the Islands and the Mainland).

The TV’s don’t work, not that we really had any time to watch them anyway.
