We loved the location and views from the property. We loved our morning breakfasts, and especially loved talking to Elsa each morning when she was preparing our meals. Everyone worked hard to ensure our stay was pleasant. We would recommend this place!

Nothing! We loved everything about ur stay.

The view & aesthetics of the villa The outdoor pool was lovely. The showers were great. Porters bought our luggage to the room at the beginning and end of our stay.

Breakfast was disappointing Website & booking.com suggested great breakfast but consisted of a boiled egg each - 2 out 3 days a mini ham/cheese slider each and a small pot of yoghurt and a bottle of juice each. No coffee or tea was provided with the breakfast. It was make your own in the kitchenette. Tea & milk weren’t provided we bought our own. We were disappointed. 3rd bedroom was located on the outside of the cave villa and lacked privacy - breakfast staff entered the bottom of the room at 7am to organise setting table and to put breakfast on table -separated only by a curtain and was disruptive to our privacy. She was lovely but she stayed at the villa for a few hours each morning. Wifi was weak and did not work in all rooms. The indoor spa created a very hot and humid environment in the villa. Every time we returned from being out it took an hour to air it out and cool it back down inside. Very loud bar/club music above the villa that played loud music until 3/4 am. There is 2 tvs in the accom. Neither worked and when we told management we couldn’t get them to work they said if both don’t work they probably need to be replaced. So that felt dismissive. Bathroom door in master bedroom doesn’t shut. I’d read reviews from ages ago and it hasn’t been fixed. There was no safe in the villa. Overall there were some great things about the villa but the things that weren’t really bothered us.

Cute property! Very clean and comfortable! Very well equipped. Elsa was amazing and the breakfast was nice.

It’s a hike to get to it but we loved that! Pass through amazing shops and restaurants to get to the villa. May not be ideal for someone that struggles to get around. The main room with the pool is a bit hotter and humid than the rest of the house. But the bedrooms get nice and cool.

View, layout and pools...breakfast on our deck.

Living room had a flickering ceiling light and one bedroom airconditioner was broken...brought both to attention of host and neither addressed.

Lots of great things about this place and if we only needed two double bedrooms then some of the low scores would have been higher. Great terrace and amazing view we never tired of, overlooking the caldera and volcano island with a perfect, close, uninterrupted view. We took cushions from inside to make the loungers very comfy (putting back in when not outside). The outside hot tub/jacuzzi was great - bigger than seems from the photos (would easily hold 6) and warm enough at night and cool enough when hot during mid-day. Sonia the housekeeper was lovely and helpful. Breakfasts good. The two bedrooms in the house were big and luxurious (missing that shower). Sonia kept us sorted with clean towels, dressing gowns and slippers. Very close to restaurants, bars, the old port etc. Also only about 10 mins walk going southwards to the bigger supermarket (much cheaper than the mini ones and good choice). 15 mins to bus station.

The '3rd bedroom' is effectively in a separate building next to pool (not accessible through main house) & has a door below it (internal stairs from the room down to a kitchen area & exit door) which apparently can't be locked, meaning someone could enter the room if either coming down from house above (they could easily) or via the street (taking the obviously hidden key Sonia, the hot tub cleaner, breakfast deliverer and others use & probably seen to use). So if, as in our case, the plan was for your 21 year old daughter to sleep by herself in that room then ...... So she ended up sleeping on the lounge sofa for 3 nights & then (due to club noise too louder - much louder in the lounge, OKish in main two bedrooms ) she slept on sofa cushions on the floor in our bedroom for the other 4 nights. But even if there were 2 of you in that 3rd bedroom IMO you need to be clubbers & great sleepers cos the music from the open air club 20 meters away will make it feel like you're in the club! + even if coming home after 4am or .. (it's finish time varied a bit) you'd need to cope with the very loud air con/extractor system by hot tub. You'd then hear the breakfast person turning up below you (at the bottom of stairs), Sonia doing prep work when she arrives etc. May put you off using toilet when people down the stairs. + Not gone to such an expensive villa before & expected the customer-focus to be at least as good as previous places - was worse (Sonia aside). Door to the en-suite toilet in main bedroom didn't close (10 inches short!) & only 2 bottles of water (no food or wine) to greet us when we arrived at 11pm (luckily found a 24x7 bakery), very noisy extractor in our room still on when we arrived. Porter didn't know how to turn off or Panos (mgr via phone). Luckily (my idea not his) Sonia was awake at 12 & dictated how to switch off at outside fuse box.
