Nice and cozy accommodation in a lovely little garden setting, offering everything you need for a short stay. Close to a teriffic swimming bay and the heart of Batsi with all its restaurants, cafés, bars, bakeries, and shops. Maria, the hostess, was not on the island, so her father was waiting for me and welcomed me on arrival, showing me straight to my room. Very uncomplicated and heartfelt.

Fair warning about 40 steps you must go down from hotel to the road that does not have lights at night.

Loved the complementary snacks, tea and coffee. Room was cleaned every day and new towels provided. Location was about a 10 minute walk from the port and all of the restaurants and shops.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as we expected. Too thin and stiff mattress for our liking. It was also very squeaky as a structure. However this is just our personal opinion based on our sleeping habits.

Anemoesa was a very pleasant stay with great - friendly staff and vibe. It's located on the opposite side of all the restaurants and bars, which makes it a great stay for someone who needs fuss-free nights but also pretty close to them for a night out (5-10 mins walk). Furthermore, there are two beaches 5 mins away, also by foot. There is a garden yard with coffee tables where you can chill. The room was cozy, well equipped and pretty clean. The housekeeper stopped by every day. As a bonus, on our very first day we were welcomed by the owner's adorable friendly cat!

The only thing that made our stay a bit less comfortable is the lack of AC in the bedroom. There is only one in the living space, which is good for the third person sleeping on the sofa bed, but in the bedroom it was a bit more difficult, especially for the warmer nights, since the AC doesn’t sufficiently cool the bedroom. At the same time, it was not possible to open the bedroom window, because then the AC would shut off. Considering it is not possible to add an AC unit, then I think they should deactivate the mechanism, so that the AC can still work with the open window in the bedroom.

Lovely, very clean accommodation, and Mr Stratos, the property owner is kind and helpful. The cleaning lady Sofia does a great job and is super sweet. We enjoyed the hotel’s location, only a few minutes walk from Batsi center, as well as the beautiful garden right outside of our room. The coffee facilities, the bottles of water, as well as the morning treats and a couple of other local products provided were a great touch. We also appreciated the daily cleaning service. Overall, we definitely recommend it and thought it was great value for money.

Quaint room, tastefully presented and with some thoughtful touches, like some homemade marmelade, honey and grapes from the vine at the accommodation. Friendly, helpful hosts. Our favourite amenity, though, was the little private courtyard outside each room. Ours was under a creeper with views down the mountain and across the bay. An exquisite spot for breakfast reading and catching up with emails. The accommodation is also set halfway between the 2 beaches each within easy walking distance.

It was difficult to find someone when I arrived to check us in. There were no indications where the reception was. After yelling HELLO? ANYONE THERE? a few times, an elderly man appeared with a key in his hand and showed us to our unit. Also, the place is halfway up a longish staircase - not ideal when you have luggage and there are 36 degrees C.

Perfect stay, rooms are big, comfy, equipped, super clean. Outside is very convenient, lovely view with tables. kids enjoyed the company of numerous cats and tortoise. Yes there are 60 steps up that honestly we had no problems with kids aged 5 and 7. Very close to batsi and kolona beach. Overall a great choice

To get to the apartment you have to walk a few steps so if you're traveling with kids like we did you have some carrying to do. But we knew that as did some research before

Really beautiful apartment with a lovely garden. You can have breakfast there or just have a drink and enjoy the lovely views. Great location as well. Close to the sea and restaurants. Bus drops you pretty close as well. We stayed for two nights and on the second day we found the apartment cleaned with a set of new towels.

Excellent location, great room, fully equipped, modern with amazing views over the sea. One of the best stays we had during our holidays. The owner, Mr Stratos, made our stay even more special with his kindness, willingness to help us and inform us, long with his 2 adorable cats. It's really nice to meet such people who love their job and go the extra mile. Finally the garden and the outside surroundings were the icing on the cake, as you could easily enjoy your breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.
