How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

only 1 tea bag, the coffee was old and crusty in the jar and no milk anyway so unable to have a morning drink.

There were only 3 of us and we found the room and balcony quite small. It is difficult to imagine 4 adults being comfortable here. It may suit a young family.
Location was perfect. The gift left for us was a very nice touch. Instructions on checking in were very clear.

Good location for us, very near to the supermarket. We could walk everywhere we needed to, it is a small city. our host was veery helpful. there was a problem with the A/C reported by the previous visitors that they needed to get fixed. it didn't affect us as it wasn't very hot when we were there. The host had to come to the apartment with the workmen, which was no problem for us

Ok for 2 people but likely to be cramped for 4. Very compact. Generally clean but Cigarette butts from previous guests on balcony. Water & some milks might be an idea to save shopping.
Location excellent with access to pool. Very compact. Pick up & return keys from lockbox. Good value for money. Bottle of wine a really nice feature.

The major issue we had come across, was, that the person responsible for cleaning, does not do a good job. Had to wash up the cutlery and crockery again, not to mention a bathtub. There is an AC unit and a portable fan, which bore a month-old deposit of dust. Would not dare to turn it on. Once the cleanliness improves, this will be a great place to stay. I would also advise (subjectively speaking), to make sure to refill body wash and shampoo bottles. We have found the refills in the sink cabinet, but that was the worst and cheapest stuff available. Mind you, the cosmetics are cheap in Gibraltar, perhaps, it would be a more pleasant experience to offer good quality toiletries. Would not cost much more, but the experience would be priceless.
The place is very conveniently located. Spacious Morrison's supermarket is literally a stone-throw away. It takes about 800 metre walk to get to Main Street with cafes, restaurants and an unimaginable amount of liquor stores with really cheap booze (12 quid for a bottle od Tanqueray gin, 8 pounds for a blended whisky). A 15 minute walk to the quayside, where you have a plethora of restaurants (we recommend Bianca) and ships that will take you for a dolphin experience. There are a few restaurants and two pharmacies in the building, as well as a roof top pool. Street bay parking with pay&display is easy and convenient, though not cheap, around 20 quid a day. I liked the personal touch of a bottle of wine from the hosts, as well as very good communication. One gets YouTube films showing the ways around.

Room was smaller than we envisaged. We had 2 children and the fold out sofa made space very tight for all of us.The balcony was a little neglected, with weeds in the pots
Excellent location and great roof top pool. Nice touch with a complimentary bottle of wine gift on arrival.

No free parking, bathroom needed update as shower riser was rusty and sink cupboard is falling apart, waste bin in bathroom rusty, kitchen needs rework as doesn't really work as a functional kitchen, water pressure low.
Close to all amenities, small added touches like bottle of wine and toiletries in bathroom was nice.

The wifi was temperamental but we didn't really need to use it anyway
Good location, very much close to everything you need. The view from the swimming pool at the top of the building is lovely. The flat has everything you need for self catering and stay with institutions sent how to get the keys and leave all very simple and easy to follow.

Sofa bed was difficult to set up and the flat is possibly too small to cater for 4 persons. Having said still a good deal.
I'm a Gib resident but needed a few days accommodation. Definitely good value for money by Gib standards. Excellent location for visitors at a good price

Advertised with air con which it doesn’t, didn’t sleep at all as it was so hot, reported this and even explained that my chocolate had melted across the table and was yelled at saying why are you bothering telling me that and I don’t need to know, super rude people
If you want somewhere just to rest your head it’s fine, very basic and a walk to get anywhere

No sheets, pillows for the sofa bed for our children who were declared guests. Also only 2 towels provided for 4 guests. A/C was extremely poor. Hair all over the floor which had clearly not been cleaned.
