How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Key lock numbers and release button way to small, release button kept bouncing back to the top,, maybe upgrade to one with larger numbers and simple turn to open.
Lovely apartment, easy access to local beaches by foot, on bus route or easy to walk into the City or to airport. Excellent communication with host

We found the bed to be not the comfiest. Could be improved with a mattress topper.
Beautiful and spacious apartment. Very modern and clean with fantastic facilities, full kitchen with oven and dishwasher. 14th floor so gives view of the beach and runway.

Location to main centre is 2km, taxis are very scarce.

Description of property mentioned outside furniture. This was not the case. Property 'Indicated' that the access to the pool was included/ free.. This was not the case. I suggest anyone booking reads the small print very closely. A small file detailing how the TV / IPTV box works would be helpful as would advice on bin location, what to do with bedding etc. This would save confusion.
Place was easy to find and access. Good to have a balcony and property was comfortable. Nice views of the Airport,Cemetery, sea, distant mountains in Spain and the neighbours washing on the other side of the road.

Honestly, I could give it a higher rating but since morning coffee in my pyjamas is very important, the host needs to add a coffee maker to the kitchen. :)
The apartment was as in the pictures. It was spotless, quiet and roomy.

Slightly noisy above dragging chairs ect. Lovely and clean apartment. Location abit of a walk into town. There is a bus stop outside though.

It was not possible to find out how to get hot water from the shower
We liked the spaciousness and its location at the top of the peninsula. We arrived late afternoon with a car so it was good not to have to drive further to find accommodation. We found street parking and used the car the next day to drive to the lighthouse and cable car

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a good location, easy to walk from the airport, so close to and great view of the rock, short walk into Ocean Village, close to beaches, has a cafe downstairs if needed. It was clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you could need for your stay. Walter was a great host too, friendly and helpful. I would recommend booking this accommodation and would stay here again. Thanks!

It was quite tough to open the locker, we needed to have support from owner. Would be better to get some instructions how to open the locker before check in. It was misleading information about access to the swimming pool. This property do not have free access to the swimming pool.

Definitely 12/10!!! Extra points goes for the host! Incredibly helpful, fast with answering, understandable, simply amazing... I would definitely recommend this for couples visiting Gibraltar to get married there - great apartment to get ready, relax, with the reception to leave your luggage if needed, bar on the ground level, super helpful host...

We just love this gem of a place. We like that it's an apt. So that we could feel like home. It us a 15 mins bus away to main town area. And a few steps to the beach. The place is clean, airy, safe.

The apt were an added bonus as it was near the beach and an easy 15 min bus ride yo the city centre. Apt were clean, spacious, comfortable with well equipped kitchen. Walter went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved everything about our stay and would recommend this place.
