Fantastic central location, walkable to all sites! Yet very quiet! We visited for work and the apartment was perfect for myself and my colleague.

It was a very proper suit with a good vibe , you have everything you need in the kitchen , bathroom , and it is at two steps of the Main Street, so you have close of you the restaurants , shops etc . We enjoyed it !

    Everything was ok !

Location was very convenient to the main part of Gibraltar. Rooms were spacious and light.

There was no separation in the master bedroom from the wc and shower facilities. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom area. This meant the odour from using the wc permeated the apartment particularly the bedroom. As a result of There being no extractor fan the bedding and our clothing always felt damp - high humidity. The directions to the apartment on Booking.com were abysmal! If it wasn't for a kind local lady actually knowing the location we would still be looking now! The apartment is actually easily located - once found!! - better directions would be: Main St - turn up Bell Lane - at Castle St/Steps go up - apartment ( called and labelled The Nook) is half way up on the right. Private secluded patio has to be shared with pigeons- need a good parasol!

Location was very good and interior looked nice.

Back door did not lock which presents a security issue. When I raised this I had to wait until the maintenance person was available on the Monday. This is not ideal considering I checked in on a Saturday. Maintenance should be available 24/7 especially when it presents a security risk. This also should have been checked before I had even arrived. Also no lamps in the living room so it was either very dark or very bright with the ceiling lights on. Staff took weeks to tell me that they couldn’t find a speaker left behind in the property. Poor service.

The beds were incredibly comfy, the flat is spacious and well kitted out, definatly recommend.

The fountains outside are nice but can be dangerous for slipping over if you have had a few cold ones

The location was amazing. The rooms were very clean. The apartment was large and we had a perfect holiday here. The check in process was hassle free.

The kitchen should be better. There should be more stuff with covered lids.

Well positioned, close to Main Street, but hard to find initially

Lots of damp areas & flaking paint, no external lights in dark access areas making coming & going dangerous, tripped on step and bashed head on a decorative hanging cage not visible due to no lighting; noisy water fountain in front lobby area meant had to keep windows closed, cockroaches in kitchen unacceptable....... arranged for them to deal with but did not show up at arranged time, yet entered property whilst we out, caught them later in day coming out. Unacceptable! Outdoor patio furniture broken, unable to use and dangerous. Two bedroom lamps were seen to be sparking, flickering on and off and smoke coming from cable which had wire visible, they had taped them with white tape.... H&S violation! Highly dangerous, removed from use. Have video of sparks and smoke coming from lamps. Only space to submit 4 photographs, but have many as so many nasty issues! Black mould on shower mist unpleasant! Will not return nor recommend. Could be lovely with little more care, attention and consideration of basic Health & Safety Issues..... hope they take notice, it such a pity!

After reading previous reviews I can see the host has improved lots of things and listens to the reviews. We loved our stay and would 100% go back. +Location +Decor and layout of appartment +Instructions from host very clear. We had no issues finding or getting into the property. +TV and other appliances easy to use. They do have pans and plates etc. We cooked a few times there. +WiFi brilliant as is the smart tv

-Neighbours are quite noisy. We got lucky as only one night they were loud but they were walking around until 3am and in and out of their door which then triggers the sensor light outside. -Smaller bedroom window is right outside the sensor light to the property. The curtains are linen and very thin. Me and my little boy were woken up lots by the light coming on from Neighbours coming into their property (can't be helped) maybe get some thicker/black out curtains for that room. These are very minor issues but I can see the host is great and will listen and act upon feedback

Close to the city centre. Walking distance to the cable car. When we walked down from the rock we landed right outside our door.

You need to be more specific about Castle Street and Castle Road. We did have a bit of difficulty finding the unit, otherwise everything was great.

The nook was intriguing and delightful. It was close to the venter

Unfortunately we went to castle Rd and not the nook. Remember it's near cheers if using Google maps.

We enjoyed the tranquility of the apartment. The beds extremely comfortable. The minor issues, with the bedside lamps, were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Without instructions manuals for kitchen appliances it was difficult to use the oven and hob, along with microwave. I did manage to use the washing machine, but didn't use dishwasher. There are insufficient cooking implements such as pots and pans and cooking implements, along with lack of oven gloves. More tea towels and kitchen hand towel would be useful. The apartment is advertised as catering for six, but the lack of suitable equipment means that guests are unable to make full use of the kitchen. There is only one small frying pan, one small saucepan or huge casserole pot. It would also be useful if there was a maintenance book in the apartment in order to notify staff of minor issues, such as blown light bulbs. A selection of tourist pamphlets would be appreciated by guests who arrived on Saturday & the Tourist Information office doesn't open until Monday. The above is not meant as a criticism but will hopefully help the property owner improve on the facilities.

Apartment was clean and great location

The noise level from the apartment above was horrendous even at 02:30am. Lots of walking about and banging late at night. Understand that this is out of the hosts control however because of this I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
