How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewStaff were lovely! They were welcoming and so helpful. It isn’t far from the airport The food was good and the tilapia delicious.
Bathroom fittings haven’t been thought through. The towel rail and hooks were too high. The wardrobe wasn’t adequate for long dresses so I had to hang them on the outside of the wardrobe doors. They should make sure staff do an inventory after guests leave. We had no cups for tea and housekeeping couldn’t find any.

Verified reviewFrom entering into the hotel until leaving, there was no point when we found any reason to complain. The front desk staff especially Mr Michael, Fausiana (I hope I've spelt that right) and Olivia were awesome. The porters and other ground staff including in the restaurant were cheerful, polite and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The hotel itself was clean and all facilities were above expectations., Overall the hotel services were great, but most impressive was the customer service, which was exceptional. We would definitely book rooms here in the future when we visit Ghana again. Thank you very much to all for making our stay memorable.

Verified reviewGreat pool, furnishings, lobby and gym. The bed and pillows were excellent. Love the smart TVs with access to streaming. The balcony was a nice size.
My room could have been cleaner when I checked in and the shower leaked a lot of water. Very small room is fine for solo travelers but would be difficult for couples or families.

Verified reviewI stayed in the junior suite, the rooms were well designed and furnished. The staff were super polite and helpful. Special shout out to the reservations manager Gifty who went above and beyond to make our stay a most pleasant experience. The complementary airport pickup and drop off service was comfortable and on time. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of town, and very close to major tourist attractions in Accra. Regardless, the premises itself was very quiet and provides a relaxing, serene, escape, right in the middle of town! Overall, it was such a great experience!
The hotel food was very good! The buffet breakfast options were robust and varied nicely day to day. However, I recommend that the in-Dining menu could be expanded further to offer more variety.

Verified reviewThe location was great and the design and overall finishing of the hotel was excellent. We stayed in a suite and the cooker, microwave and fridge were of a very high standard.
The only negative was that there was an issue with the electric during our stay, it kept on going off continuously. Eventually, after a day or two it was resolved and the staff were very apologetic for the inconvenience caused.

Verified reviewI recently stayed here for 11 nights and I must say, from start to finish the experience was fantastic. The hotel is located in a nice area, its very secure, the rooms are massive, and the food is amazing! Breakfast was fantastic. I requested cold chocolate once for breakfast and the following days, James and Ebenezer would make it for me without me even asking. The pancakes were fresh and were always served with a smile. The restaurant has really good food, although the menu is small. Anna and Bless used to look after me. One night, I was feeling a curry and rice and, even though its not on the menu, Anna spoke to the chef for me and was able to make it happen. Room service was always very fast and Ibrahim would always ensure I had everything I needed. Bismarck, the legend! We used to catch up during breakfast and when I would come back from the office, sharing a laugh or too together. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. What made it really special was the people. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed getting to know everyone during my stay. Thank you! TK
