The hotel is located near the Accra mall, very calm and surrounded of green trees. Staff at the reception bar, restaurant, room service and everywhere are helpful and smile all the time

Comfortable, clean rooms. Attentive staff. A bit outside the center, but with Uber and a bit of planning you get around without any problems. Shopping center is across the road with 2 supermatkets for almost everything you need.

Some mould in shower room ceiling. No tall mirror in the room but 1 in the shower! Not sure about security into the hotel or in the lift.

Working fridge, air con & safe. Courtesy airport shuttle arrived at the exact time. Staff friendly & polite. Like the atrium & great pianist.

The fridge did not work and was not fixed/changed when i reported it. Offered tea/coffee with buffet but not told until after that it's an additional charge

Some things in my room did not work consistently e.g the safe, fridge & TV remote control. My room was not cleaned until after 6pm despite someone coming to ask if it had been done in the early afternoon. You can only order the buffet in the dinning room in the evening although you can have individual meals as room service. One of the treadmills in the gym did not work.

Enjoyed the breakfast with its healthy options. Good decor in the rooms, atrium & dinning room. Good pianist in the evening. Helpful staff especially in the bar. Problems raised were dealt with promptly. Timely courtesy airport shuttle.

The first day after I checked in, I ordered food, and it was terrible. The Talapia was salted, re-cooked so it was hard and a little tinted. Infact a fly kept coming around my food and fell in the glass of water because it was chasing the tinted fish. The waiter still billed me for the water. I am not so sure that he changed he glass either.

The first room I was assigned did not meet my expectation especially the amount of money paid. I than requested a change of room was granted without a problem. The breakfast was good with a lot of different options to choose from.

All staff delivered 5 star service except the bar/restaurant staff. Front desk and the bellmen were top notch. This is the issue. We ordered food in the bar area and waited nearly an hour and still didn’t receive the food. Justice, the waiter kept telling us only 5, 10 more minutes. Still no food. We had an early morning flight so we left. Early the next morning, we check out & we tell the front desk about the food and we tell them we need to pay for our drinks. I was given the price & I paid. 5-10 min laters, Justice comes with a bill in hand saying 10 more ghs was owned. I was outraged as Justice promised food then didn’t deliver & he was a nuisance. Most establishments especially 5 star, would have apologized for the inconvenience and offered the drinks free. They definitely would not harrass a guest for more money after the guest paid the price provided.

the staff service was inclredibly slow. i had to call 3 times before i could get room service up my room. When i asked for it to be charged to my room, they declined and insisted i pay upfront and that was really not great service as i did not have cash

The food and beverage department needs a revamp. Most of the a la carte menu wasn't available or served with missing ingredients described in the menu...

First room i got was underwhelming. I asked to change room and was given a very good one and the same category. The personnel was very helpful and receptive to my query.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s like home away from home. The food is superb!! We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner is icing on the cake, very delicious meals. The property is clean and value for money. I highly recommend The African Regent Hotel to you!!

Generally speaking things are okay. There is always room for improvement but the African Regent is a good hotel. I would be interested in visiting the hotel again.

The staff are polite and friendly. The restaurant's food is good. The hotel is clean and spacious with a strong Wi-Fi connection. The location was ideal, it's in close proximity to the airport and the City's malls. I enjoyed my stay. Cecelia was our housekeeping assistant (for the second floor) during our stay. She kept our room neat and tidy.
