How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The owner wanted to go immediately to the bank so I could pay them in cash- it looked a little too pushy.

Verified reviewFantastic view from terrace. Lovely friendly hosts who went out their way to assist us. There was a very bad thunderstorm one evening and the hosts were concerned about us and came to collect us from the restaurant. So kind. True Georgian hospitality.

I thought it was more hotely but it felt more like a guest house. Breakfast was not furshet style, a very lovely lady served home cooked breakfast, but for this price ive experienced much more pallet.

Verified reviewWe are the only guests at the hotel, it was so quiet as the low season. I can say it is an AirBnb, the host's extra house. They are so kind, helped to go back to the Tbilisi by providing their car and driver. Was great help as we had a problem to get Bolt. Home cooked Breakfast was really yummy. I would like to visit in summer season again. Heater was greatly working.
Little uphill and far from the Main Street, but enjoyed the walking. Wifi didn't work - only worked in living room, just next to the router and still very limited.

Verified reviewOur stay at this accommodation was amazing as we got to experience the Georgian hospitality at its best. The host were extremely warm and welcoming and made us feel totally at home. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and the whole town is extremely quaint and lovely. We were also pleasantly surprised by the host providing us complementary wine and traditional georgian pastries during our stay. The breakfast spread was also delicious and adequate for two. All in all, a great stay for us as we have made memories at this accomodation. Special mention again for the warm and lovely hosts who have made us feel at home away from home. Thank you. Highly recommend the place

Verified reviewLovely spot, it only has two rooms and we were the only guests at the time so had the place to ourselves. It was super clean and comfortable and well equipped. The view from the balcony is lovely, breakfast was good in the morning and the hosts helped us book our onward travel and even gave us a lift to the bus station.
Nothing to complain about!
Thank you so much

Verified reviewVIM apart-hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Sighnaghi. My mother and I spent three nights at Vandi’s place, and I honestly couldn’t wish for a better option in this town. The terrace with fantastic views of Sighnaghi was a highlight - we spent peaceful mornings and quiet afternoons there, surrounded by birdsong and greenery. All that just a short walk (5-7min) to the main square. Sighnaghi is a small town, so you’re never far away from anything. This place had all we need for a comfortable stay, and we felt like home - only better! But what sets VIM apart is the hospitality of the family that runs it. Vandi and his whole family welcomed us, and made sure my mom’s birthday we spent in Sighnaghi was a memorable one. They kindly organised a special dinner, gave us delicious home-made wine with compliments, and shared their home and stories. This truly was one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had. Don’t hesitate, book this place!..
Thank you for everything! You are our hotel’s best guest! Sending love ❤️

Verified reviewBreakfast was good, not great. A little variation on the second day which was nice. Only instant coffee, but cafes nearby. The balcony has a good view looking up at the mountains. The accomodation was obviously brand new. There was a fireplace, but no wood to use it.
The room was very small, but clean and comfortable. We were happy there was a seating area to relax, but it was not private. The host offered dinner to the other folks, but did not tell us it was an option to order (pork BBQ)

Verified reviewgood location and view, nice breakfast. rooms complex is very pleasant. everything is clean and well maintained
when showering, the entire bathroom gets wet. very small room. not the hotel you'd expect - only two individual rooms in an apartment (shared living room, kitchen and balcony)
