If you are looking for genuine Georgian hospitality and warmth, this is the right place to stay. We arrived late evening and asked for dinner. It was no problem and dinner was served in about 40 minutes. We also left the car at the premises as we made Udziro Lake Trek. Do not expect Western Europe standard, but you rather enjoy your stay and friendly family atmosphere :-)

Wonderful quiet village in the mountains, with a gorgeous view from the room windows. I recommend to make a walk by the village (for example, to the mountain river). Hosts are super nice and will love to talk to you in the morning and share their story. Room is rather simple, but it's suitable for this location and price. There's a kitchen where you can cook or make a tea. There's a normal shower with hot water (even at night). Courtyard is big and you can walk and seat there amongst fruits trees.

This guesthouse is of a very basic type, however, if you don't expect a 3stars hotel, you will be satisfied. It has a good location in the middle of village Glola, in a quiet place - some marked trails starting within walking distance. The host family was very nice and helpful. Everything in the room was clean, beds were comfy and spotless. There was also a heater, which helped us a lot, as we came back from the mountain trek completely wet. There is some very basic equipment for cooking, too.

The bathroom was a little dusty but it wasn't a major issue to me.

The host family was very kind and accommodating! Lela made sure all my transfers got done in a timely manner which I really appreciate. The cooking was also wonderful (do notice that you pay extra for meals provided by the guesthouse, but they're definitely worth it taste-wise and reasonably priced). Location of the guesthouse is ideal for checking out nearby hiking trails or sights. The accommodation is good for those that don't demand too many luxuries, it is a very typical rural setting :) I warmly recommend staying here!

although it was december, Lela and Tamuzi were very welcoming. the place was relatively warm, i had nice time reading next to a fireplace. the area is nice, good starting point for a hike.

One of the beds in the 3 bed room was completely caved in -- not possible to sleep on. Only one electrical outlet in the room, and it was cold, so we had to choose between charging the mobile phone or plugging in the electric heater (which had a very short cord and therefore could not be placed so it actually faced us). Water faucet in the kitchen area would not turn off -- water-torture drip. The overly friendly/aggressive (and quite large) puppy would, like clockwork, jump on you with dirty/wet paws and bite your arm (not gently) when you went outside to use the bathroom (this was particularly disconcerting at night). Then, when returning from the bathroom, said puppy would push its way up to the door and try to force its way into the room, necessitating a "push dog back & quickly slam door" move which did not always work. A bit much for a middle of the night trip to pee.

Beautiful autumn location. Very friendly and welcoming family. They were flexible about providing meals and the food was delicious. Helpful with starting up the wood burning stove. We left with a delicious gift of a bag of apples from the yard.

There is very limited kitchen equipment available.

.The hosts are very nice, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are big. The host provided us with electric heaters, which was great. It is important to be aware that the accommodation is basic.
