Reviews of Hotel Stancia Kazbegi - City Center

Amazing staff, great restaurant and perfect location

Stancia is a good intersection of value and quality. The dining area is decently modern, as are the rooms. And if you stay on the mountain side, you get to sleep each night to the sound of the river. Besides that, the staff were really helpful. This was one of our first trips with our baby, and the staff had fun entertaining her while we ate.

If anything wasn't to my expectations, I can't remember now. The breakfast was nothing special, but they did have a sufficient spread of food, including eggs and hot dogs. Maybe the only downside is that the hotel is in the middle of downtown Stephanitsminda, which is a pretty rugged-looking town. Also, be ready for long lines at the local Spar.

There is bad smell in the corridors and needs more lights

The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The views to the mountain and the river are fantastic. This was the highlight of our trip to Goergia.

Breakfast and stuff were good.

Transit truck traffic to Russia and from Russia was too much noisy. Because of the traffic and dogs without master and control made impossible for us to sleep for two nights that we stayed.

In the center of town with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and the river below from the main hotel terrace. We had a large terrace room which was comfortable with a separate seating area inside in addition to the terrace, with awesome mountain views. Great food and exceptionally nice and helpful staff.

Very good location, attentive and kind staff, cleanliness, very nice restaurant and bar, views.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, looking after our big bags at no extra cost while we climbed Mt Kazbek. The breakfast was brilliant and views were incredible.

. The facility answered all our needs, and the dinner and breakfast were more than expected. But the most important thing was the good stuff and we all will remember Salomi (i hope I am saying her name correctly who made our stay perfect.

The view is amazing. Staff are so nice especially Salome. Some rooms have Shatafa/bidet (شطافة) so I requested a room with shatafa and they moved me. Book mountain view to enjoy the most magical view ever!

Everything was amazing in our mountain facing room. Great room amenities n good size. Absolutely outstanding was hotel executive Tamari who took excellent care of our needs.

The city facing room was noisy owing to traffic all night. Menu is a bit pricey.

The mountain view is incredible. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I super recommend this hotel.

Everything was great!

We had a great stay at Stancia Kazbegi Hotel! The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a separate living room and bedroom. The service was excellent, thanks to Tamar, she was incredibly kind, offered us cappuccinos several times, and was always ready to help with any questions or requests. The breakfast had options, so there’s definitely something for everyone to enjoy. We also loved the veranda. The location was excellent as well, with pharmacies, supermarkets, and a bank all right next to the hotel. I would stay here again for sure; the room, service, and location were great. However, I’d probably skip the breakfast next time. We ended up dining at Rooms Hotel instead, and it was absolutely worth it for the view and the atmosphere.

As for the downside, while the room was overall very clean, the bedsheets were spotless with no stains, hair, or any other issues, I did notice a few spots on the floor, and the towels could be a bit whiter and fresher looking. These were minor details, but a bit more attention to them would make the stay even better.

Staff were so nice, and breakfast was excellent

We'd like to especially mention Tamari (hotel executive) who's care and attention to our every need made this stay so special. Hotel view, vibe, comfort and amenities were fabulous. The food was great and servings large.

The food menu is a bit pricey.
