The heating was difficult to adjust. The temperature could be well adjusted by opening and closing the window though. This however made it a little(!) louder inside the room as a major road is nearby.

We were looking for a place to sleep between Vardzia and Tbilisi and found this hotel in Ninotsminda. From the outside it is not very spectacular, but on the inside we found a spacious, clean and beautiful room for our family of four. We had the family room consisting of a living room with a king size bed and a simple bathroom and a separate bedroom with three single beds. You have good restaurants nearby (we ate at Tamara's) for dinner. There is no air conditioning, but this isn't a problem, as Ninotsminda is at almost 2,000m height and not very warm anyway. There is a heating though as it might get cold during the night even in summer (we had just 14 degrees C in late July). Outstanding owners - very friendly, very helpful. As we travelled with little children they even surprised us a with a little breakfast! Parking was right in front of the hotel.

If I could make a suggestion. Booking mentioned laundry machine but be aware this is a paying service (20gel per machine). There is no dryer and you need to dry your wet clothes in your room, maybe they could let you borrow the clothing rack or suggest elsewhere in the village? But I guess we are an exception of actually using the laundromat. Would come here again so definitely not a setback!

After a few days of wildcamping this was a welcome hotel stop, great comfortable beds, fast wifi for the kids, clean kitchen and fridge/freezer, spacious bathroom, clean towels/soap etc.

It was a great pleasure staying in Hotel Sharl. This place is run by a beautiful and very hospitable family. Hotel is newly renovated, our room was nicely decorated and spacious, everything was new, spotless clean, very comfortable bed, toiletries and plenty of hot water which was very important, as it gets quite cold in this area at night even during summer. Very quiet with a common kitchen with everything you need. Treats, such as fresh fruit, tea & coffee await you aways. Plenty of parking right outside. Location is perfect as it's 2 steps away from the supermarket, pharmacy and fuel station. The hospitaly we have experienced exceeded all our expectations; it was the warmest welcome we had on our trip in Georgia. We stayed at the hotel while our bycicle tour. The staff was very kind and helpful. We could take the bycicles into the dry and safe entrance of the hotel. The room was very big, comfortable and clean. The kittchen was very good with all the stuff you need for cooking. We recommend definetly this hotel. We had a really comfortable stay.
