The view from the terrace was breathtaking - it was lovely to enjoy a couple of beers there after a day of hiking. I was travelling alone, so the small room was perfectly sufficient for me. However, the bathroom might feel a bit cramped if you're very tall, so it's worth asking about larger options if available.

Pleasant surprise after just staying in rooms hotel the night before. It's a clean and new hotel with a terrace on the roof with unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains. Staff are pleasant and accommodating and the rooms are clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again!

United StatesMy family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains. Our room had a well-stocked bath with robes. We ate dinner at the hotel each night, as we were tired from hiking each day. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding. The seating area is awesome for sitting and having drinks, also. The only thing lacking is the breakfasts. Fresh bread and fresher fruits and cereals would be helpful. The eggs, though, were good, and so was the coffee. Also, note for Americans and Europeans -- breakfasts are served throughout this area at 9 AM. I definitely would stay at the Mood Hotel again.

We had a great view of the Kazbegi mountains and the Trinity Church from our room. Sitting on the balcony during the evening, drinking wine with provided blankets was wonderful. It was a quiet area. The roof terrace is gorgeous with a splendid view all directions. Breakfast was nice. We found out the last day they had a coffee machine, which we unfortunately missed. Now you know :) The staff was very nice and helpful. They made an early breakfast so we could eat before leaving early which we really appreciated.
