First of all - host is exceptionally kind. The room is nice and spacious, everything is new and clean. Breakfast is amazing and you have a variety of foods you can choose from. Guest House is close to the city center and 2 minutes away from the Cathedral, so a bonus point for that as well.

Very difficult access by car and parking. Google does not suggest a suitable route, it leads you via stairs.

Comfortable, clean, accessible (on a hill just beside the river) guest house in Kutaisi. Bonus points for free parking. Stayed in another guest house in Kutaisi the previous night for a similar price and we felt like this was better value for money.

The road up to the guest house is quite steep and it's a tight turn into the courtyard. Maria suggested we park in a nearby side road which was easier.

The host speaks good English and was welcoming, chatty and helpful. The rooms were very well decorated with comfortable beds and modern ac. Nice breakfasts. The guest house is a short walk from.the bagrati cathedral which is worth a visit and there's a well located bar opposite the cathedral with a nice terrace.great views across the city. The guest house is 15-20 mins walk from the bars and restaurants in kutaisi.

Everything was ok

Maia, the host, was very communicative and helpful in all our requests. She speaks a fluent French and was open which allowed nice conversations. We arrived at night (5am due to our flight), but she was there to warmly receive us. The breakfast was ok/basic and we received a tasty glass of wine. The room was clean and modern. We warmly recommend Makos Guest House to any future guests.

There is nothing to dislike about this homestay.

Almost Everything. The location is a little bit far from the city center, but it's beautiful. If you love walking, then you will fall in love with the evening walk by the river towards the home stay. Maia is a great host. She is so welcoming. She offered us homemade wine, which was so awesome. The view from the balcony was so great. You will have a nice and delicious breakfast. We loved it.

We liked everything.

The host, Maia, is amazing. She arranged everything we needed, and we’re especially grateful for the hot sandwiches she prepared in the middle of the night for our trip home. Her family is incredibly warm and kind. The rooms were excellent, and the overall service was outstanding. We would love to come back and repeat the experience.

Little bit away from downtown.

The owner of the guest house is a very nice lady. She ensured all the possible comfort and guidance that can be provided was provided. The guest house location in terms of view is very very nice. Both the owner and her husband woke up early to prepare breakfast for us as we had an early flight to catch. Really nice, clean and value for money.

Room is in a nice house in the hills close to the city centre and cathedral. Maia is friendly host, gave us good advice where to go in rainy weather. Delicious homemade wine. They are preparing wine cellar for guests.

To drive a car into a parking lot you need to have some experience as a driver or have an off-road car.

The facility is very nicely managed by the hostess - Mrs. Maia. Very good wine to start. Room clean, large, comfortable extra bed for a child. Nice place to stay in Kutaisi - walking distance to the center about 20 min. Tasty breakfast, you feel at home there.

We definitely recommend this accommodation. The location is excellent – close to the city center, yet very peaceful, with beautiful views. The hostess is incredibly hospitable; we were welcomed with homemade wine. The breakfast was delicious, generous, and varied – the best we had in Georgia! We truly recommend this place with all our hearts.

The apartment is tidy, everything you need is available, and if something seems to be missing, the hostess will kindly assist. The apartment is located close to the sightseeing spots. This place has a homely feel. We were treated to wonderful wine and very delicious cheese – Thank you!

The room and bathroom on the first night, a bit small. On the second night, forced by an unpleasant circumstance and helped by the hosts, we received a room with a bathroom that was much more spacious and more suitable for our family. No TV in the rooms. Recommendation to all those arriving by car, the entrance to the yard is from a road with a high inclination, so be very careful when maneuvering.

The hosts, a special family. The lady, full of energy, attentive to everything related to the comfort of tourists, speaking English, French and Italian (in addition to Georgian and probably Russian), and the gentleman, no less kind, can lend a hand with parking the car in the yard, if needed. A guesthouse where peace, cleanliness, elegance and good taste dominate. Well-kept yard. Rich, varied, tasty breakfast.
