Patio had a clear view of castle, nice for enjoying a glass of wine. Excellent location close to Rabati castle. Very friendly host. Breakfast was excellent (homemade bread, local cheese and preserves, tea/coffee, eggs), portion size generous and the selection varied slightly every day.

Fan in the bathroom was broken, kept window open instead.

Family run guest house/restaurant. You feel like home the way the friendly owner treats you. Fair price, comfy bed, clean linen, towel free of charge. Also, he provided my hotel sleepers. It's a couple of minutes walk from the castle (you can see it from the accommodation). Food there is so tasty, try khachapuri for breakfast (it's amazing). Card payment is accepted. 5/7 mins from the bus station, bakery, and town centre.

Apart from being assigned a different room than the one I had booked (due to the previous guest extending his stay), everything was brilliant! The host was very welcoming and supportive, always willing to help with anything. The food was delicious, seemingly prepared with great love by the hostess herself. The house's location is wonderful—right at the foot of the Rabati fortress, where I enjoyed both sunsets and sunrises from the top.

A lovely little guest house, close to the historic citadel. You can walk up to it in around 5 minutes. You can also easily walk to the pretty town centre at the other side of the river in around 10 minutes. There are shops, cafes, supermarkets and street sellers there, as well as some lovely views of mountains, river and old churches and other buildings.

Perfectly located and very cozy, literally 2 steps away from the Rabati castle. We ate at their family restaurant and the food and breakfast were really good and affordable. Big and clean room and bathroom. The whole family are great hosts, Zurab is a wonderful musician who granted us a private morning concerto.

Xato is a caring lady. They have relatives diagonally across the road at Old Rabati, also lovely people. Mary is a sweet person too. (Just a quick mention, next door Minimo, Armenian courtyard restaurant, Angelika & her brother, lovely friendly people too). Xota's son Gabriel is an exceptionally talented acoustic guitarist (his dad Zura can also strum, another nice dude). We had a kicking couple of nights with Gabriel playing, a Chicago guy duetting with me. So much fun & joy. Great times of Georgian hospitality.
