The host was very attentive, even inquired whether any of us was vegetarian or vegan so that they can consider that when making dinner. My travel Partner was indeed vegan thus we really appreciated this gesture. The dinner and breakfast were AMAZING. I would highly highly recommend staying at this guesthouse.

It's a very good place on the trail to messia. Just above the guest house there is a little pool in the river where you can wash. And the food was very very good

The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the owner’s daughter was exceptionally polite and always ready to assist. The room was spacious, cozy, filled with natural light, and spotlessly clean. They also offer a wonderfully delicious, hearty dinner at a surprisingly affordable price

This guesthouse is the place to stay when you need rest on your way through Svaneti. The family took care of us and made us feel like home. The food was amazing, the hospitality just very exceptional, the bed very cozy to sleep in after long day. We would come again

We had a wonderful stay at the Gujejiani Guest House. The family is super nice and the location is gorgeous! We had a very tasty dinner and breakfast. The really make everything by themselves. If you go there by Marshrutka ask the driver to let you off at the Spar market in Iskari. From there it's 30 min walk up the hill. The family can also organise a ride at little extra cost.

Mari, the daughter who was home for summer break from university in Tbilisi was very kind and generous, she spoke English which helped for me. The value was the best on my 5 day trail running through the TCT. It is the last home in the upper reaches of Etserii bordering the natural area leading up into the mountains and mazeri beyond. Stay for at least a night!

Our stay with the Gujejiani family was the best way to kickstart our hiking trip in Svaneti. Communication was smooth both via Booking.com and in-person. The food was plentiful, fresh and delicious. The room was comfortable and with an amazing view 😍⛰️. All areas were spotlessly clean. They even showed us the shortest way to the trail! We can't recommend this guesthouse enough. These people will fill both your bellies and your hearts.

The road to get there is not paved, but it is still possible to arrive.

The property advertises free wifi and that's why I booked it. There's no wifi, free or otherwise which to me is a huge draw back

Only thing I can think about is the shower was low water pressure — other than that, nothing!

Incredible food and hospitality despite the language barrier. Super cheap for what we got, and an amazing starting point for our hiking trip. The proprietor’s daughter speaks good English and is reachable by phone so no issues at all!

Not the fault of our hosts, but navigating to the home was difficult as Google and MapMe didn't always list the roads in this area. The GPS coordinates were obviously super helpful but either having more signage on the road leading to the home or having written directions ("turn left at the intersection with the blue barn doors, left when you reach the creek, etc.") would have been so helpful. We eventually found it though!

This farm home guest house was a delight. It is a working farm in the rural Mestia area. The breakfast was one of the best ones we had during our visit to Georgia, and nearly all of it came from the farm! We had mountain and garden views from our room, and the area around the home is stunning.

Such a warm family! We had hiked in the rain/snow all day and the daughter checked in on us and offered a ride to the house. They also helped us dry our wet boots by the fireplace and arranged a car when the weather wasn’t favorable for further hiking. Great dinner and breakfast spread as well!

Very kind and hospitable hosts. Young girl spoke English. I got enormous and delicious dinner and breakfast. They were even kind enough to give me a ride to the main road where I could catch a bus. Definitely my best stay in Svaneti.

Everything was perfect. The location Is just on the TCT trail. We received a warm welcome and had everything that we needed. The food was great - we had dinner and breakfast freshly made by the family with ingredients from their own garden. I would go back anytime.

If I could I'd give more than 10. This place was truly magical. The owners took care of us and the hospitality was top. The breakfast was really yummy and so big we couldn't finish it. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. Thank you for the best start of our holiday 🙏
