We had such a wonderful stay with Nanu and Tamaz, who welcomed us like family. They are incredibly warm-hearted and generous hosts. The breakfast was delicious, and their homemade chacha is a must-try 😊 The guesthouse is in a perfect location with stunning mountain views. The flowers Nanu takes care of so lovingly add a beautiful touch to both the garden and the terrace. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

We had a delightful time with Tomas and Nanu - they were so lovely and generous and our room was such a treat after multiple days of walking. The room itself was spacious, clean and very comfortable with a nice view out to their beautiful garden. The shower was warm with good pressure and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious (especially Nanu's homemade cake). The house is located a few minutes from the Main Street in Mestia. We loved everything so much we came back a few days later before returning to Kutaisi. Would highlight recommend.

Nothing - we honestly loved our stay.

This was one of the most memorable stays of our trip to Georgia. The family running the guesthouse is incredibly kind and helpful — they helped us arrange a shared ride to Zugdidi and even offered us some of their homemade chacha and cognac, which was a lovely surprise. The house itself is cozy and charming, and their small garden is absolutely beautiful — a peaceful spot to relax after a day of hiking. Everything about the experience felt genuine and welcoming. If you’re visiting Mestia and want more than just a place to sleep — something that brings you closer to local life and culture — this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and authentic Svaneti experience.

My stay at Guest House Nanu was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The hosts, Nanu and Tamazi, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail created a truly unforgettable experience. The room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained. I especially appreciated the peaceful environment and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Every little detail—comfort, cleanliness, and quiet—was just right. Breakfast was exceptional: homemade, hearty, and ideally suited to fuel long days of exploring Mestia’s trails. The location is ideal—close enough to the town center but far enough to enjoy complete tranquility. I can confidently say this was one of the best guest house experiences I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend Guest House Nanu to anyone visiting Mestia. I will definitely return. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Spotlessly clean tidy properly just a short walk away from the centre of the village. The couple are super clean and really friendly treating us to some complimentary drinks and bites on our arrival and departure. We would stay here again and highly recommend them.

The bathroom floor was very slippery when wet.

It's place with Georgian soul and amazing people. There are very clean rooms with super comfortable beds and bathroom with shower. In winter there is heating inside every room. Everyone should try chacha, wine and food made by hosts. I recommend this place, it's where you should stay in Mestia.

I have been in Nanu’s Guesthouse with my girlfriend. It was the best stay in our life. The house was immaculately clean, there were all of amenities from description. There is free parking in the backyard. Licalization is perfect, near main street. Nanu was so warm and patient. She was serving us tea, coffee, small snacks, homemade chacha and cognac, she also made some laundry for us. We felt like on holidays in house of beloved aunt. You can also buy some homemade souvenirs from Nanu: honey, cognac, salt, chacha, wine. All of them are perfect. We strongly recommend that place, we can confirm that all of previous comments are true.

The location of the guest house is perfect, it is near the center but on a calm street. The view from the garden is fantastic. You can have a nice breakfast or dinner outside, sorrounded with flowers and best view of the mountain Tetnuldi. The room is nice, furnished with all the essentials and super clean. The hosts needs to be mentioned separately. We have not met the hostess Nanu herself, but her husband and daughter were beyond nice and made us felt more than welcomed 🤍

Great little guesthouse, very welcoming owners, big spacious garden and cosy rooms. The breakfast is enormous!

The beds are a little too soft but it’s not a problem for most of the people.

Nanu and her husband were the most welcoming and lovely hosts we had in our entire trip to Georgia. They helped us with every issue that came up, we didn't even had to ask. When we arrived to Mestia for the second time after a trek, we had to book a room at Nanus again and it felt like we came back home. Thank you so much.
