How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewMy husband and I loved our stay with Timur. He was super sweet and helpful. The space is beautiful, very large and comfortable. It has everything you need. We had more than enough room for 2 people. And, we had a private entrance, which was also nice, as we didn't want to bother Timur with our comings and goings. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is great. The bed was super comfy. The apartment is well located, easy to get to and quiet, since it's a residential area. It's close to the center of town, and easy to get to with a car or taxi. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We also loved talking with the other guests who were staying there. It's great value for the money. Timur is very sweet and funny (even if we communicated by google translate). Overall, we highly recommend staying here.
Nothing. Everything was amazing!

Verified reviewTimur, the proprietor, prepared a sumptuous breakfast every morning. It was a perfect way to start the day. We enjoyed breakfast while Timur's kitten, Snoopy, entertained us. In the evening, Timur brought us a pitcher of homemade wine. He is a wonderful host, always willing to help. The apartment is located near restaurants and grocery stores -- about a 20-minute walk (or UD$2 Bolt ride) from the central city.

Verified reviewThere is a garden. Timur is very nice, doesn't speak English well but makes himself understand and available. He has made breakfast for us and offered his own wine.
The room is a bit outdated and has some light coming in early morning. The kitchen is very limited and small.
You booked a simple room. I let you in a Suite at that price. And why don’t you write?( Kitchen 45 m², Where have you seen a small kitchen? I am very sorry that I cannot hold the sun so that I can always look at you.)

Verified reviewTimur is a charming and a kind man. He is very helpful and practical. For a very good price, he fetched us from the airport, took us to the monasteries, took us to the bus station and helped with information about our marshrutka. The rooms were exactly right for me and my adult son travelling together: a large double bed in a screened off part of a sitting room with another double bed. And a private bathroom.
Nothing really. I would have liked a bedside lamp perhaps.
We have a night light on the ceiling and a switch next to the bed. I think it's better than a table lamp. Mariana Thank you for everything.

Verified reviewNice location, nice house. The suite is really large with its bedroom and livingroom. Timur, our host, doesn't speak English, but he uses very well Google translate 😊. Communication worked very well. Simple but very good breakfast.

Verified reviewEverything was excellent: Timur's kindness and hospitality, he both picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night of my arrival and very early morning on the leaving morning. He cooks and serves yummy breakfast, makes you taste his home wine, takes to the city centre, tells you what to see there and where is the best national cuisine restaurants. I really recommend his service! Madloba, Timur! :)

Verified reviewNo idea why such good opinions here. The place was decent. Bed was quite comfortable. Garden is nice and location is good, close to the railway station. Host is trying to communicate by using Google translate (he doesn't know english at all), you can tell he's willing to help and will answer all your questions. Everyone is writing about the welcome wine but we got nothing.
We booked a room with a private bathroom, it also said it had kitchen, terrace and even coffee machine... And we got a room with shared bathroom on the corridor, shared kitchen and shared balcony. It's hard to find the place cause of no signs, and you can't pay by card. Host is doing overbooking and has to switch the rooms last minute. Breakfast was ok but small and no fresh fruits, no vegetables, and it was cold. And 10 minutes before the checkout time host got in the room and started hurring us by patting on the watch... this is definitely not 9,7/10. Wold not recommend even though the price is good.

Verified reviewTimur is incredible. He insisted on driving us everywhere, shopping, sights, into town...very comfortable car....he really went all the way to make our stay as nice as possible . Breakfast was ok. The " suite" is the only room I would really recommend as the other rooms are rather small and have no windows and share a bathroom. The suite is big and comfortable with a huge sitting area and it's own terrace and entrance. there is small kitchen area outside with a kettle and fridge.
Location. It's quite far from town and if you decide to walk you better make sure that you need to make sure to remember the way back. Kutaisi is not an easy city as the streets are strangely twisting and turning in all directions. Next time we would probably try to stay closer to the center but it really depends on what one likes to do. If you're after a quiet place with great service you will most likely like this place But make sure to stay in the suite.
