How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewAmazing host and her family. They cooked very tasty breakfasts and dinners. Their home wine is absolutely brilliant. My car's battery was drained. And the host's family helped get it charged.
It was not a big issue for me but there were ants in the kitchen. Also it was a bit noisy because of construction at the neighbor's house in the same yard.

Verified reviewThe hosts were very welcoming and speak good English. The food was good (only there was too much!)
The shower was malfunctioning when we were there, but that might be because of problems with electricity at the moment.

Verified reviewThe hosts are really warm and helpful, so the whole family is nice.
The stay wasn’t what we expected it to be: - the pool on the photos doesn’t belong to the property it’s just a pool in the village (for usthe pool was the main reason for choosing this place), - we got completely different room than the one on the photo, - the room was too hot, there is no fan or air conditioning, - i think that there is no specific space in house for guests you just sleep in between the family rooms, - someone was just walking around the whole night, - we were woken up at 6AM by a loud noise from the outside.
Your assessment is unfair. The pool is well-known to everyone, located 500 meters from us, is free and always open. When booking only one room in a hotel of this type, it is not recorded as disturbing to any other guest, so this was your personal problem.

Verified reviewWe had great time at this accommodation, we arrived late and after arrival requested for dinner, the hostess prepared a simple tasty dinner for us. The house is very cozy, with a beautiful garden, there are hammocks to swing and relax. The location is good if you are with a car, as generally the village is quiet high in the mountains and we don’t know if there is any transport going there. There is convenient parking in the garden. The breakfast was also quiet tasty and big.
Mosquitos, but they can be anywhere 😆

Verified reviewThe yard is absolutely gorgeous—lush, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. It's the kind of place where you can truly disconnect and breathe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and warm Lechkhumi experience.
Thank you very much, it was a pleasure to have you visit.💜

Verified reviewThe property is nestled among the mountains of Lechkhumi, surrounded by stunning nature. Every detail was thoughtful and beautifully handmade by the family, adding a special charm to the place. I especially loved the gardens, the cheerful sounds of swallows nesting, chickens roaming freely, and the gentle mooing of cows in the background. Marie and her husband made our stay truly unforgettable. After cycling 46 miles from Kutaisi, we arrived exhausted and hungry—and were welcomed like family. Marie prepared a generous spread accompanied by their homemade wine (an absolute must-try). We shared dinner together and watched the sunset from their favorite spot, making the evening all the more special. I had heard about the legendary Georgian hospitality, but Marie and her husband truly set the standard. Their warmth and sincerity were exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay—I hope to return again someday.

Verified reviewIt is very quiet at night, which helps with sleep. It is easy to find if you drive here. The owner has a big house, a garden, pigs, cows, and dogs. I saw an unexpected scenery. If you walk to the main road in the morning, probably where the swimming pool is, the scenery will surprise you.

Verified reviewNato was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast and wine were also perfect. You can also park your car there and the secret pool above Lailashi is very near.
Please, don't forget to take cash for all payments! It's a rural stay, we forgot about that (that's not a minus tho, just a warning).

Verified review— very-very hospitable host Natalia — option to order breakfast and dinner by homemade products (vegetables, fruits, milk, cheese, ham) for good prices — absence of any noise besides sounds of village (but I like cow's mooo and dog's awawaw) — nice views and some activities in village (cold pool, synagogue and Armenian church, possibilities for small hiking) — Georgian family's atmosphere because you live in house where hosts live too — simple but clean furnishings, and hosts always help you if you need We love Natalia and her house ❤️
— if you don't have a car, it is difficult to reach this nice place — only one guest WC (it becomes a problem when other guests live) — it's not a "premium all inclusive rooms", but it's normal for us, and we got all necessary by hosts and house

Verified reviewThe Guest house has plenty of space for their guests with a large living room and a veranda, where you can sit and enjoy life. The place is just surrounded by nature and you can listen to birds all day. Natalia and her family are very kind and attentive. She regularly brought us small snacks and drinks which was very appreciated. We had a delicious dinner with some very nice homemade wine. You can find some relics of the Jewish life in the village with a Synagogue and a very old cemetery. For us it was the perfect place to be in nature and relax.

Verified reviewBy staying there, you can experience local life and the environment. The yard is spacious and cosy, which especially in summertime might be very nice to chill out.
Wintertimes are generally cold in this area, which might be tricky for longer stays.
