The shower attachments should be changed to a metal that doesn't show rust/corrosion quickly. The sliding bolt latch on the bathroom door exiting to the patio was rusty and difficult to slide back and forth. The same door latch was rusty and stuck in the door. However, they were not a safety issue.

The breakfast was wonderful, even though there is a limited choice, and the staff serving us our breakfast were very pleasant and accommodating . The cleaning staff and reception were very polite. We had a nice view of the sea. The patio with the hammock was very relaxing.

The only thing we felt that should been made more clear is what stops on the offered tours are available certain days. We had a tour scheduled in advance for a Saturday, but came to find out the just the night before that the River Antoine Estate Rum Distillery, and Chocolate Tour at Belmont Estate that were apart of our tour were not open that day, which was disappointing. Had we'd known that in advance, we would have scheduled the tour another day.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Petite Anse. We celebrated our honeymoon there and it was exactly what we were looking for! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our villa was literally steps away from the ocean, and the room was perfect for our honeymoon. We enjoyed our meals at the restaurant and the staff were wonderful. We would definitely love to visit again!

Food was not varied - same every day. We stayed 5 nights & very very bored of it. A lot on menu but the same sauces on everything Very windy side of island - it does not let up. Sea is very rough & can not be swam in Beach is very small & not very nice Could get very crowded if hotel full Long taxi ride from airport - 2 hours both ways

Lovely staff - very friendly & helpful Room was nice, AC good. Bit dated but serviceable & clean Easy access to beach Nice clean pool & sun beds & umbrellas. It has been built so out of wind The hotel was almost empty so had most things to ourselves Food ok but no variation

Unwelcoming reception staff. Restaurant floor needed cleaning. Bar and restaurant staff trying their best. Needed an update and general maintenance. No security visible unlike some other hotels on the island.

Good location by the sea. Nice pool. Good base to explore the north.

Exactly as described. Amazing people, could not do enough to make our holiday brilliant. Great location if you like countryside, beach and local people. Don't go if you like tower blocks and concrete tourist traps!

    All good

Lovely position by a wild beach with crashing waves. We had a fantastic trip organised by the hotel to nearby Sandy Island, one of the highlights of our holiday. The hotel had a delightful pool and charming restaurant. We really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful.

The hotel isn't state-of-the-art but in many ways that's its charm

Great escape and very relaxing. Spectacular location on the exposed north coast overlooking the sea. It was windy and rough during our stay which only added to the relaxed remoteness of the Petite Anse.

That we didn’t book for longer !!!

Location of Villa (we were in “Lemon”) which fronted the beach and had a lovely veranda with comfortable seating and a hammock as a bonus. Meals were taken outside on the restaurant balcony which overlooked the sea with wonderful views of nearby islands. All the staff went out their way to make sure our stay was one to remember. I would recommend visitors take the Sunday morning walking tour that for us ended in a beach bar in Duquesne Bay.

Our only negative was on a few occasions we felt that the wait staff at the restaurant didn’t seem to see us, even though they were not very busy. We certainly weren’t in any hurry, but we sat for a long time before we could get anyone’s attention to just get a menu. If we were supposed to do something different when we arrived no one shared that with us. This was an evening issue, not breakfast. ( The food was excellent and the views from the restaurant were stunning.)

While Petite Anse is a distance from many of the area attractions, that is precisely what we loved. Quiet, private, beautiful location. When we wanted to get out and about, the drivers they arranged for us were excellent. When we wanted to fully relax, we had a beach, a pool and our porch looking out at the sea. The staff was welcoming and attentive with the one exception noted below.

It needs updating. I am all for eco, but in the room the bathroom really needed some TLC, the beach was so natural there was some garbage and a large palm leaf fell right near my head- but they provide the only shade. For the whole complex only 5 beach lounger chairs, one broken, all filthy. The dinner was a choice of 3 items, crazy expensive and all very sweet. Drinks at the bar were pricey and with the cheapest local rum available, hard to drink. there are lovely rums on the island...

The views from our room were amazing, we stayed in the Nutmeg Room and the balcony was the biggest and most beautiful I ever had with a room. Ocean a little wild but fun if you are use to oceans, warm water and gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely - full English if you like, also fresh bread, cake, granola, cereals, etc. Service is ok, better than evening. Pool is pretty, with nice lounge chairs with cushions and umbrellas.

Tranquility totally spoilt by noisy children visiting. Although beautiful spot meant for peaceful relaxation, not a lot to do locally. Disappointed not to swim in sea as advised not to. Owner seemed stressed and unfriendly as opposed to the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Light bulbs that were not working not replaced in dining area and old deflated balloons left from February 7th Independence Day celebrations, a month ago. Threadbare table cover on breakfast table and whole area feels a bit run down with little coherence or updating of decor. Difficult to find due to lack of road signs. Sauternes (local town) uninspiring and aggressive.

Amazing view, nice rooms, good pool & lovely scenery. Friendly staff.

    Nothing.

This is a unique and beautiful location. A true Caribbean experience. Not for those seeking to dance through the night, party on the beach or show themselves off. It is a quiet escape from all that. The food is fabulous, full of locally grown fresh produce, with inventive menus; the staff, everyone of them, are helpful, kind and thoughtful; the room we had, on the beach, was basic but had everything we needed, plenty of space, a very comfortable bed and a gorgeous view. The terrace furniture was comfortable and the people who cleaned each day couldn’t have been more efficient. The owner is clearly a very attentive and clever owner, recruiting a great staff and keeping them happy.

The only thing that could have been better would have been to have more information provided about the available excursions and to have walking maps availalbe at the front desk.

Our stay at Petite Anse was wonderful. Our room was spacious, clean, had a nice view of the ocean and you could hear the waves. The breeze keeps the mosquitos away and the temperature comfortable. The breakfast was good and we had two dinners there that were also good. The staff is friendly and the grounds are well kept. There is plenty of parking and the location is good to visit places in the north i.e. Bathway Beach, the Belmont Estate, the Antoine Rum distillery and the Welcome Stone.

Breakfast was rather disappointing. Choice of fresh fruit very limited, though cooked breakfast was OK.Dinner had 3 choices of mains, though accompanying vegetables were al dente in the extreme.

The beach was easily accessible & not crowded. Stunning sea views, though sea rather rough so swimming limited. Few sunbeds & only 4 with mattresses, tho during our stay only one or two people used the beach. Nice swimming pool - kept clean & sufficient sunbeds & shade. Staff helpful, particulay Dona in reception. Rooms had lovely views and were unpretentious. Some nice touches, e.g. jug of milk in fridge on arrival. Reception would arrange local trips & Armaillo restaurant around the corner served outstanding food.

I loved everything about this place. We stayed in the beach front room, which is a stand alone room/building. We basically had the beach to ourselves (stayed end of November). It had wonderful porch off front with comfortable chairs and hammock to watch the waves, sunset and all. The rooms are pretty open air if you want to sleep with windows and doors open but also had air conditioning if you prefer. We did not utilize the pool but looked very nice and the restaurant is pretty good as we enjoyed the drinks and the pizza. Would love to go back one day.
