If I had to criticise... the shower didn't have much power/heat.... but this was down to an old system

Nothing I didn’t like really

The property was in a really good location, facilities were good also done a really nice breakfast was also options for gluten free and vegan. The host was very friendly and helpful, was very chatty and made everyone feel welcome

There’s a bit of noise from the road but not much you can do about this.

Very comfortable stay- nice room with great selection of teas/coffees etc. Carol is a star. We loved our chats with her. It’s a 10-15 minute walk into Hayfield along old railway line for pubs/restaurants. Beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Lovely big windows in the breakfast room. And what a great name!!

I have nothing about the Waltzing Weasel I did not like.

I really liked everything about this place. Carol was incredibly sweet and the location was super close to Hayfield, which was an incredibly fun town to explore. It was quiet and the landscape surrounding it was so beautiful. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean.

Fantastic stay here, lovely spacious room with all amenities. The bed was very comfortable, shower piping hot, room was quiet even though it was at the front of the property. Glorious views over the dales. Breakfast was as other reviewers have said - brilliant! Carol makes everyone feel welcome, a great host! Would highly recommend a stay here.

Slight niggle, the water pressure not the best so shower a bit weak.

Carol and Simon were very welcoming, bed comfy and breakfast outstanding quality and presentation. Very clean, good quality toilet tissue, everything you need for even a longer stay.

Our room was spacious and well appointed. Fresh milk for tea and coffee was readily available. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Decent WiFi connection. Our room had been recently decorated. Breakfast was very good. Carol is a very good and characterful host. The beautiful village of Hayfield is a short walk away. We will definitely be returning.

A fantastic stay, Carol is the best host. So welcoming and attentive. Beautiful location perfect for exploring nearby Castleton. The room was really spacious and clean. Breakfast was amazing and we both slept really well. Do not hesitate to book!

Beautiful setting and easy to find. Hostess was lovely and made us very welcome She even changed our room to a beautiful down stairs one because of my husbands heart condition. Would recommend it it everyone and we will certainly book.there again if we visit that part of the country. I am.Gluten free and the breakfast was beautiful..
