The bedding and the room could do with a deep cleaning. The walls don't have much sound isolation, so get some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, as neighbors can come and go around the clock. It got quite hot some days in the room as well, and no fan is provided. Overall, don't expect luxury for this price, but we can't complain much.

The room was comfortable enough for a week long stay, and it didn't feel cramped. A private bathroom was a nice touch in this price range. The shared kitchen had everything necessary for storing food and doing some simple cooking. The backyard was nice to have for relaxing a bit. The surrounding area felt nice, with shops, pubs and the tube station only a walk away.

Negatives: shower mixer does not work well, and the hot water was too hot (this was the same for another couple). We stayed for five nights with no change of towels or provision of toilet paper (despite requesting this). Hence be prepared to buy toilet paper, washing liquid, and wash your towels. In the shared kitchen the oven and dyer do not work. The photos online must be very old and do not show the actual look of the place which requires a spruce up.

Positives: nice and warm, washing machine available and kitchen to cook meals, good drying rack. About 10min walk to rail-station and 30min to the tube 'Tooting Broadway', 10min walk to food and grocery shops, cheap accommodation.

Bad and STRESS-inducing answers to our questions about late check-in! Two times we got the unclear and STRESS-inducing answers via "Booking.com" about check-in late although a clear information on the website about just this property item. Mr. Pedro saved it by solving the check-in possibility very late at night. For more detail se our conversations with Swedish "Booking.com" support.

Check-in availability very late at midnight! But.... → see the next comment "What didn't you like?" Mr. Pedro who take care of mannagemet of properties, as I understod, was nice to conversate with about our check-in late. There is possibility to check-in to the property at any time. It requires a necessary communication with landlord to solve/find this possibility and get some instruction for it.

Sound isolation is not the best, room next to kitchen and could hear people talking inside. The heater was way too hot and my partner got a burn from it.

Property charged an immense cleaning fee for a tiny room with barely any furniture in. Shower wasn’t the cleanest so I do wonder what this huge cleaning fee actually covers or who’s pocket it goes into

Furniture too cramped in room 4 . Had to walk sideways to get out of bed to get to the ensuite . No space between the toilet and the sink . Had to sit on loo sideways . Kettle wasn’t working on arrival . Wasn’t replaced until the following day . TV was very difficult to tune in . Also it was a Spanish version so all instructions in Spanish on the screen menu . Only one pillow each was supplied.

A fair price for Wimbledon week clean and the actual facilities good . Manager good but communication through phone only . Rather confusing as in the hall there is a locked box stating key drop off where my husband dropped the keys not realising that he then couldn’t lock the front door and we should have left the keys in the key safe outside after locking the front door . Fortunately we asked another tenant to lock the door on our departure from the inside .

Towel rail switched on in the bathroom in midsummer. They switched it off. TV remote control and kettle in the kitchen didn't work. Batteries were replaced in the former but still didn't work. Shower luke warm but didn't matter because it's summer.

Responsive help to check in and resolve issues from Pedro. Quiet location. Basic but comfortable room. Shops, restaurants, and public transport options nearby.

Check in was nice and easy, as long as you contact their caretaker Pedro, first glance of the room it was pleasant for the price, the location was okay, not far from central although about £8-10 journey on public transport. We originally booked the room as it was photographed and advertised with a kitchenette, microwave/ fridge/ kettle etc. However this wasn't the case, you had to share a kitchen space with 5 other rooms. We reported to the customer service team that our hot water continuously stopped working and that our shower glass panel was broken so it leaked water all over the floor causing a slip hazard. Constantly messaging to get it sorted and it never was. A member in the party is severely autistic and struggled with the two flights of stairs (being on top floor) and slipping on the wet floor numerous times. We had to use our towels which were provided and even our clothing to stop it from becoming worse. We have taken a video to show how bad it was as the photos do not show how truly awful it was. The communication was awful especially with the host and their caretaker, a real shame as this could be a lovely place if they showed they care about our wellbeing.

It is difficult to communicate with the host. Service is not great need to improve into accommodate traveller who are coming from long distance. Friendly interaction can be improved.

There was no change in linen or towels through the week. The shower curtain also required cleaning or a change. I would like to see the shower curtain changed after each occupant has left and the room cleaned, including change of linen and towels at least after 2 days.
