Stayed for one night with work. Host was very welcoming and gave me a tour of the premises as well as some information on things to do locally. Easy to get out for a bite to eat and some great trails if you follow the canal path. Will be back.

I had the downstairs room - very comfortable. And the fridge and cereals, fruit and yoghurt, etc for breakfast; with option of prepping some hot foods in the upstairs kitchenette. I wasn’t keen on the big but beautiful bridge to cross the bypass into the city on foot - but LOVED the alternative route along the canal-side path that was pointed out to me.

The shared bathroom being upstairs, hence no readily available facilities, or basin just to rinse hands, etc. BUT good system in place for clean crockery etc.

It was in a great location. Comfortable and facilities were good too. The breakfast room was well stocked and a great convenience too.

Shame it is a shared bathroom.

The welcome was warm and genuinely friendly. The room quiet and the bed comfortable. I slept well both nights. The surprise bonus was the use of a kitchen with table, a very convenient use of the fridge, and many details my hosts thought of. The attention to useful details everywhere was excellent and surprising

The bathroom was shared between the three rooms. This did work, and the price reflected this inconvenience. The decor, while unimportant, was a rather charming throwback to the 1950s.

We booked Witterings BnB completely by chance while cycling through England, not knowing the area at all — and it turned out to be an absolute gem! The house is spotless, welcoming, and full of charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast room is simply delightful. The hosts are amazing — so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, sharing great tips about the city and nearby places. From the very first moment, we felt at home. Highly, highly recommended!

Friendly owners and very accommodating, ideal location for beach or goodwood festivals. We booked as we had tickets to Qater goodwood festival easy to access bus for commuting.

Excellent location 10 mins walk from train station and a bus stop in front of the house. Very friendly reception by owner. Continental breakfast is laid out in a separate little kitchen with ample choice. Beautiful room and nice shared bathroom with all amenities.

Shared bathroom was expected. However, there is no extra separate toilet, so sometimes a bit of a wait while someone else is taking a shower or getting ready in the morning. There is no tap in the kitchen, this has been solved by jugs of water so you can make tea. Only tap is in the (shared) bathroom.

It was beautifully decorated. Loved how I had a kitchenette in my room.

The cars were a little loud sometimes since I had the room closest to the main road.

The accommodation was very comfortable. Stephen was a delight. He made sure we had fresh bottles of water in our room and was eager to share his extensive local knowledge. We had a lovely stay. Also, there were USB wall sockets so great for charging your devices....as long as you remember your charger cable.

There is a shared bathroom down a corridor, which we were aware of. Dressing gowns were provided for guests which was a nice touch. Also a shared kitchen where there were cereals, bread, a toaster, microwave, coffees etc. This worked out well for us but worth noting that it's shared with the other guests with only one table to sit at.

I like the room. The bed was comfy, I liked that I had a mini fridge, snacks, a table with a chair, and a sofa. I didn't mind the shared bathroom, didn't really feel like a shared one.

The house is near a fairly busy road so there was some noise.

The hosts, Barbara and Stephen were very gracious and informative. The home had a very quaint feel. Having a kitchenette just for the quests was very appreciated. It had a small fridge and microwave. There was a good variety of breakfast items: cheese, cereal and milk, yogurt, toast and jams, granola bars and fresh fruit.

Only blip was a shared bathroom. Where my wife was desperate for the toilet and we had to wait 5/10 mins to be vacant
