Amazing stay in a lovely village, couldn’t fault the hotel in any way and wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Everything was really lovely but it would’ve been nice to have a candle or some sort of extra lighting on the dining table in the evening For a little country village in an isolated setting, the road through the village does get very busy! Didn’t affect our sleep though as the hotel is tucked away - plus the bed was super comfortable

Very pretty and characterful hotel in a quintessential English setting, staff very friendly and helpful and the luxury en-suite room was everything we hoped for and more - wonderful!

It was very warm in the room but granted it was a hot day.

The pub/hotel is in the very wonderful and charming little village of Hambleden. The room was very nice and cosy and the pub had great food and drinks, with lovely and helpful staff!

Everything was fine. The pub/restaurant seemed a bit understaffed whilst we were there. But staff were friendly.

It’s a cute little place, we’ve stayed here a couple of times

A little bit expensive. £11 glass of wine but apart from that would definitely go again!

    Loved the place!

We both felt our Dinner was poor. The Fish & chips were obviously cooked some time before we ordered and thus were overcooked and disappointing. We expected much better for the price.

Quirky old Inn in a beautiful village. Efficient friendly staff providing good service.

The room was a little stuffy, but the fan useful.

Third visit to this extraordinarily charming little spot. Absolute gem, that feels like a home rather than a B&B, or hotel. The garden area is beautiful, and the interiors that are authentically homely, but with lovely little touches. The Village is extraordinarily beautiful, and quaint.

Very nicely furnished room with a lovely view of the village. Hotel's location (in the Hambleden Valley) is fabulous. Great staff - helpful and friendly. I've been a frequent visitor and will happily continue to be

There were a few bits of what looked like mould on some of the grouting in the bathroom, and even though this is a very old building, we felt that this should be sorted as part of regular housekeeping. Only a minor quibble, everything else was great.

Excellent dinner on last night, staff very good overall and helped with an early check-in. Did not have breakfast either night.

This is a great little pub hotel in a beautiful location. Good food and friendly service. Parking is easy too. Nice walks in the neighbourhood. Good to see this is both a centre for visitors and for locals. Bathrooms are modern and beds are comfortable
