Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was fantastic. We had afternoon tea on the first day which was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Loads of choices. Evening meal and the dancers and band all excellent. Was situated in a lovely part of London where I had not stayed before and so lots to do and next to beautiful Green Park.

United Arab EmiratesI didn't like the silence in the breakfast room (not even a bit of music, nothing). They will check your shoes (no matter how expensive your sneakers can be, you will constantly feel out of place) and the staff may make you feel underdressed, which to be honest was a bit annoying but I guess is part of the package when staying at this iconic hotel. No gym available.
The Ritz is an experience in itself, amazing staff, everything is very very very formal. The bedroom was gigantic and very clean. Great location.

I came here after the stunning afternoon tea I had two years ago and it's the best thing I did for myself. Don't miss out on breakfast. And thanks to the most amazing hotel staff in all of London.

The bar team stood out with their great sense of humor and contagious energy; they were always smiling and made our evenings even more enjoyable. The reception team was incredibly kind to me, especially when I lost my phone. They were so understanding and went out of their way to help. They also offer taxi services through their own trusted contacts, which was really convenient and reassuring. The rooms were spotless—super clean and tidy. We even received a bowl of fresh fruit in our room, a thoughtful gesture that made us feel right at home. It’s clear they truly care about their guests. Overall, I felt not just like a guest, but like part of a family. I can’t wait to come back!
