Absolutely Perfect Stay – Warm Welcome, Stunning Rooms & Delicious Breakfast

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hostess gave us the warmest welcome, making us feel right at home from the very first moment. The rooms were stunningly beautiful, with stylish decor and a wonderfully designed bathroom – everything arranged with such taste and attention to detail. We also received excellent recommendations for dinner, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. In the morning, we were treated to a homemade breakfast buffet that exceeded all expectations: plenty of fresh fruit, delicious pastries and bread, and even freshly prepared fried and scrambled eggs were offered. Everything was truly flawless and far beyond what we had hoped for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Breakfast was good. Only marked the facilities down slight because as beautiful as they look the roll top bath is not easy to have a shower in would have preferred a shower cubicle. Also the room was superb but was on second floor the stairs were difficult so a slight draw back for the more elderly customers. Having said that would definitely go back.

Slight traffic noise as it fronts onto the road along the loch but no disturbance at night.

The location on the side of the Loch was excellent. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and equipped with seating. Bathroom was spacious too. Lovely decor throughout. The breakfast was excellent with a huge range of choice including cooked breakfast. A short and very pleasant stroll into the centre of town, which has a choice of good restaurants and fine shops. Thoroughly recommended

I would’ve preferred a larger mirror in the room we were in (but managed with the small one provided!)

The accommodation was steeped in amazing history but was spotlessly clean. The host was lovely and the ‘review famous’ breakfast lived up to the hype! It was delicious and plentiful!

Everything you required provided. Breakfast was excellent one of the best buffets I have had. Was really five star. Fresh fruit, breads, cereals yoghurt fresh juices all beautifully presented. If I were to grumble about anything, it wasn't clear where parking was available, but that was sorted by checking directly with the BnB owners. But really, there was nothing to fault with our stay at The Old Rectory!

The Old Rectory was phenomenal. Easily the best BnB we've stayed in - the owners were so welcoming and friendly and provided a really delicious continental breakfast selection with cooked breakfast options too. The room and bed was extremely comfortable and we were lucky enough to have booked a room with a loch view and an incredibly large bath tub in the enormous ensuite. The BnB itself was situated right next to Loch Fyne and it was an easy walk (10 minutes or less) into the village of Inveraray with bustling pubs and cafes and we were given great recommendations by our hosts. It's just a shame we only stayed one night!
