Great room; superb location and views; very friendly and helpful manager / team (family run); good food; relaxing place; ample parking. But it is the location and friendly team that stood out. This was the view across our family of 5. Planning a make over soon for the property - so expect it to be even better.

- very nice location with space outside-beautiful - size of the room - towel heater - tv

- no shower gel (we had a bit not enough even to clean 1 person) - I guess that was a "staff's meeting" around 1am, very loud discussion that we couldn't sleep!!! (We had our room close to the reception) - hotel with really nice location, nice building, nice size of rooms, has a massive potential however poorly decorated, such shame...cleaning need some extra attention too - we got 2 beds which has been stacked together when I asked for double bed - massive bathroom but no place to place our belongings or even toilet paper (instead of place it next to the window) - heating was on and window was left open - such a waste of energy in these times - tv but not connected to Internet - very dark room

The venue is to die for

It was a real shame that within the room the layout was lovely including the walk-in shower but no hot water put that on hold unfortunately. Although we had to leave early the next morning so that could’ve been the reason for the lack of hot water.

The view and the breakfast was nice

Very old and in need of substantial tlc. Broken glass in the window in our room and need to wedge something under it to get it to stay open. Shower didn’t drain so like a foot bath and taps loose in sink.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is stunning and the views from the rooms were unmatched.

The rooms were not serviced while we’re staying in the room, which is fine, but if no one was going to be in while we occupied the room, it would have been helpful to have the rooms stocked for the amount of time we stayed. There was only enough coffee in the room for one cup each. The bed was a bit lumpy and we could have used a second pillow each. Breakfast should be included.

Absolutely beautiful view over the loch, great location Room was a good size with two chairs in the bay window Friendly manager who seemed to be doing most jobs in the hotel

Room decor run down and shabby window in bathroom above the bath/ shower that looked out into bedroom not great if more privacy wanted Food was overpriced and not good at all , uncooked burger still raw in centre served with cheap frozen chips and no T- bone steaks as advertised( told too expensive to buy in , so why is it on the menu ? ) replaced with sirloin but served with mashed potato and mixed veg ? What on earth, as a chef I would never serve a T bone or sirloin in this case with mash potatoes Really need to get a decent chef and rework the menu It was obvious the hotel had just been took over and had a lack of staff since the manager seemed to take on every roll Outside was overgrown and messy expensive room rate considering how run down the place is Given time a lot of work and money into the place it could be a fantastic place to stay and eat

The room was tired and in need of refurbishment, The TV didn't work, poor Wi Fi signal.

There is not proper temp control for hot water , some time too hot or cold

The room was dirty with a smell. The food was extremely poor If you have dogs although they are allowed to stay at a cost of 20 pounds per dog! You have to sit outside if you want food. The pint that got pulled was off so we had to switch to bottles. The walls are paper thin and the shower had very little pressure. The hygiene was my main concern as the room didn’t feel clean.

The location was fantastic, the staff were friendly.

The room wasn't very clean. The bed was uncomfortable. The water in the shower was not hot, cold in the evening, hot for 2 minutes in the morning and then only warm.

Friendly manager and dining facilities

My tiny window was largely blocked by roofline and that was disappointing as this motel was fairly expensive.

Lake outlook is great. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Property is rundown and in need of some TLC. Plumbing is old and needs updating.
