Meal service in the Bar on 24/08/25 Evening was slow. I had reserved a table but apart from being seated at it no-one came to take my order (20 Mins) until I asked if someone would. The menu clearly said If had reserved a table, I should await table service.

Location, relaxed feel, superb view from the dining room at breakfast. Good choice of food at breakfast (although the bacon was a bit hard). Free parking.

    Nothing.

Felt very relaxed staying here. The food in the restaurant for dinner was a real surprise, all the dishes coming from the kitchen looked amazing.

I would suggest cleaning the windows regularly. This would give guests a much better view from inside the room.

The sea view and location were perfect. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the fantastic balcony offered a peaceful retreat. The pool and spa facilities were also clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a very good stay.

The shower in one of the rooms was broken i kept having to push it back in whilst showering and the beds weren't overly comfortable too soft but that is just a preference thing I suppose.

The Spa facilities were lovely and even better we had it mostly to ourselves. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was delicious especially the scrambled eggs! We had a lovely relaxing time.

The gym is usable, but the equipment has seen better days. (Turn the earphones up if go on the crosstrainer as it's quite squeaky).

The location is superb. 10 minutes walk to East Looe where there are loads of cafes/bars/restaurants (and amusements arcade - great for kids and adults), plus a lovely sandy beach. Right on the doorstep of the hotel is Hannhfore Point beach, which is shingle and is good for rock pooling. South West coastal path is close by with good walks to Talland Bay (and onto Polperro) and in the other direction can walk to Millendreath, Seaton, Downderry. I believe there is a good local bus service too, although I didn't use it as I walked everywhere. The staff are friendly and helpful. Spa facilities (pool/sauna/jacuzzi) are fab.

The place and staff were friendly and hopefully the room was clean and the bed comfortable plenty of hot water not far from anything food was lovely

The patio area in both rooms we stayed in were dirty, untidy and definitely needed some attention. The patio furniture needs a regular clean.

The location was great. Enjoyed the walk to the beach.

Dinner, we shared a starter which was excellent. Mussels My husband steak meal was good and he enjoyed it. I ordered the risotto, it was almost uneatable, I should have sent it back, it was a solid mass of rice, I have enjoyed risotto many times over the years but not last night. The price was high and we would expect better.

The position over looking the sea, and a big verandah which was a bonus. Unfortunately the step out was dangerously too high. The balustrade in the front had rotted off and unsafe. The bedroom door was difficult to open from inside and banged when shutting.we were in room 424

One evening shift staff member in Bistro was very unhelpful and didn't show any interest in the needs of the individual. But all the other staff were fantastic.

The location was great, and the view from my room of the Sea was lovely. The majority of the staff were excellent and very helpful, especially the Receptionists and Breakfast staff.

I didn't opt for a sea view room, as the pricing structure made it comparatively very expensive for a solo traveller.

I really liked the pool, the location of the hotel and the views from the bar area and the restaurant/breakfast room. I liked its proximity to lovely coastal walks. From the hotel is it very straightforward to join the South West Coast Path and I had a great day walking from Looe to Polperro and back, stopping off at Talland Bay for the scenery and food/drink at the cafe along the way.
