Lovely country pub and a spacious room.

Nothing wrong with the property at all .

Room was very nice as was the vegan breakfast.

Shower was a bit feeble and breakfast was quite noisy. As it was a warm night, quite a few people sat outside, so a bit noisy in the bedroom.

Great room, great pub, location was good as brother lives nearby so that was the reason for choosing location.

The staff were engaging, and efficient. The bedroom was very comfortable clean with everything you need and greet attention to detail - even had hair straighteners as well as hairdryer for example. Linen was all good quality. The restaurant menu included local produce and really interesting choices with good portions and good value - the 10 oz gammon steak was fabulous!

Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the room was well-appointed and very clean.

There were several problems. 1. The cabins are in the pub grounds. It was a hot night, and the room did not have air-conditioning so we had the window open. The noise from people drinking outside, just a few yards from the window was very loud. This went on until almost midnight so we were unable to sleep until then. 2. The breakfast that we would have preferred - continental - was not available on Saturdays or Sundays. We only learned this when we turned up in the dining room. 3. The earliest breakfast was 9am. This was too late - we wanted to be away fairly early to get to a nearby event.

Th room was comfortable table lam was broken and nit working.

Had Sunday dinner. Beef fatty, carrots half cooked ,cabbage mixture greasy.,roast potatoes not crispy.and creme brule mediocre no flavour and no crusty topping.. My partners pork was fatty too but he thought the crackling was great. Beer was flat too. £75 wasted

It was roasting hot in the bedroom. Could not sleep and the fans didn't help. Poor breakfast.

Room was very clean and well equipped. Straightener, fridge, safe, fan, toiletries and teas coffee etc.

The room was lovely, friendly staff and check in was very easy.

The breakfast was very slow despite being the only people ordering at that time. It was nice when it came but it did take a while.

Narrow parking space(I have a 4x4)

There was a pub sign high up on a wall, which you could not see whilst driving. Needs a clear sign at eye level, visible from whichever direction you approach. Sunday breakfast did not begin until 9 a..m - needs to be a good hour earlier. Having breakfast mad me late for an event nearby. On the whole it was a good, lively pub, and I would stay there again.

Friendly staff, immaculately clean, excellent food

The overhead shower pressure was useless but the handheld one was better. This was a minor niggle in an otherwise excellent t stay .

The accommodation was bright, stylish, and spacious. The outdoor eating area was more than just pub grub on wooden tables and benches….. it was thoughtfully designed and very appealing and comfortable. The pub inside would have been very cosy in the winter months.

The pub is next to busy roads so not as peaceful when eating and drinking outside. The rooms, however, were double glazed so very quiet for a good night’s sleep.
