    The location is amazing.

Facilities & access to rooms is very tedious. Hot water was not available in bathroom. WiFi never worked during our stay.

Near to Camden - big comfy room. Bus stop right outside! Paid for early check in and communications were excellent- good customer service!

Price was pretty much at top end of our budget - especially for shared bathroom - but it is quality accommodation in a good location so to be expected!

We had an upgrade so we were very pleased. Lovely decorated room and very clean. Bus stop in front of the door, and just a short walk to Camden town. Communication with owners via Booking chat went very smoothly

On a busy road so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs.

*review from Sue & Jim* The room was large, airy and very clean with a comfortable bed & 2 pillows each (oh the simple things!) Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom (both a bath and a shower) and enough towels which were also soft and clean. Selection of teas and coffee provided also, and a corkscrew so bring your bottle 😁 Loved the little private courtyard area which were accessed through sliding double doors, ideal in the summer. Although the house is on a main road, it's surprising very quite. Helped no doubt by the tall walled garden at the front. Our room was at the back of the house and behind our courtyard was a very well established private green area which, as well as keeping noise out at the back, meant we weren't overlooked at all. We slept with the double doors open and it was so peaceful. We used the tube (10min walk) and overground (5 min walk) and there is a bus stop right outside the property. Within walking distance of Camden Market, the vibrant town and lockside & with easy access to other areas of London this place is ideal. For those getting ready for an evening out... there are lights everywhere along with a full mirror. We loved the visits from the resident cats, but for those worried, they kept their distance. Communication with the team about arrival was clear and concise which we received as advised a couple if days before our arrival.

Personally we would have liked more breakfast tea (only 3 bags provided) but there were other tea and coffee options available.

Great location for Camden market and only 15mins bus ride from Euston. Check in instructions were good

The matts on the floor in the bedroom in the basement where a trip hazard. Suggest a handrail to the steps lead to the basement outside. Felt the bathroom could do with a deep clean and painting

The Central Victoria is in a great location in Camden and easy to get the bus to the popular areas of London. The top floor was nice (no one above making noise) and the bed was comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet with a major road out front. The hosts were very nice. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. In general I liked the room, but it had some issues.

The booking site was confusing and I didn't realize I had a shared bathroom until after booking, then I paid a lot more to get a private bath, BUT the shower was for decoration (the controls were outside the curtains (that touched my body in an effort to get the curled plastic closed to avoid splashing water into the room) -- then there was no place to put soap or shampoo. Utterly a useless shower (and as a tall man, a bath caused a lot of water splashing as well to wash my hair and head). The shower head should be on one end with the controls INSIDE the shower curtain with place for soap and shampoo to be also. I paid a lot more for a private shower, but wished I had the cheaper shared bath with the functional shower instead. Also, the low ceiling was tough to use the sink and toilet. Even my 5'2" wife hit her head using the toilet (which is a rarity!). The very bright red emergency light was super bright at night (I attempted to cover it with a shirt with little success). There was also a skylight and curtains didn't block enough light in the morning, so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. It is really close to being a great place, but it had a couple of key problems than lowered my rating unfortunately.
