The parking spaces are a little tight sometimes for large vehicles. Smaller rooms are a bit of a squeeze but you get what you pay for.

Lovely little B&B with great breakfast (local sausages, kippers, porridge on order) and comfy room. Great views over the hills. Local walks.

really cute bnb, really easy to find, great location close to Keswick town and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was unreal, hot tub to rent out which was perfect after a day of hiking! Would 1000% stay here again!

The setting was lovely, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We got a night meal straight across the road at the Troutbeck Inn, which was very nice and catered for dogs if you have any with you.

It was lovely, clean, welcoming and very comfortable. Nothing to not like!

Lovely cottage, very welcoming and accommodating host, lovely to get cup of coffee and pot of tea offered as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, lovely sausage, all served in a lovely shabby chic conservatory.

The steep staircase with narrow treads, but that's due to the design/build era of the house.

Family-run B&B with very friendly and helpful owners. Excellent location for exploring the North Lakes with easy access to Keswick and Penrith, and a 15 minute drive to Ullswater. There's a good pub across the road for evening meals - booking advised. Very affordable accommodation.

Nothing I can think of!

Dean and George were always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay so comfortable. The breakfast choice was extensive and was served piping hot. The breakfast service was excellent. Being able to book the spa/hot tub after a full day of walking was such a treat. Lots of parking, freely available.

Location- close to the lakes. Friendly staff/ owners who always make you feel welcome. Clean room. Shower powerful. Lovely breakfast with various choices. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom. Hot tub. Ideal place to stay. Nothing too much trouble for the owners/ staff. Would definitely stay again (this was our 2nd time as we liked it so much).

Helpfulness and friendliness of Dean and George -nothing too much trouble Good breakfast. Location perfect for much of the northern lakes. Pretty garden with chairs to sit out. Cosy sitting room with wood burner. Quirky, interesting collection of artifacts. Hot tub in separate building with very unusual, quirky decoration!

The host in the evening was friendly and helpful The bedroom was more than adequate very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the poached eggs we outstanding.The service was excellent.

The stairs to the rooms were steep, and although there were banisters on both sides, anyone with disabilities would have had difficulties.

The breakfast was really good, exactly as I requested. I really enjoyed the sausage.

A little dirty under the wardrobe when doing final room checks before leaving, and the bathroom was a little small for me so might be too small for people bigger than me.

Comfy bed, cute and private bathroom, wonderful breakfast! As I walked in for the first time, I could smell the clean, fresh air. Even still on the ground floor, I had a lovely view.
