Main couch is too low for me to sit on comfortably that apart the place is great

Very long windy single road to property regardless of what way you come, does have loads of passing places though. Long way to get provisions, which I knew beforehand but couldn't bring much supplies due to lack of space.

Very peaceful location, great for walking my dogs, cafe/shop in village was really good for lunch and dog friendly. Community very friendly to us and our dogs. Cabins all very unique and pretty well spaced out with good open spaces as well.

Location is extremely quiet, too quiet for us: a 40-minute drive minimum to get anywhere. Loch Aweside Forest Cabin is accurate, but it misled me as the lodge is not on the side of the Loch I.e. it does not have a view of the Loch. Loch Awe Forest Cabin in Dalavich, is more accurate.

Very quiet location. Variety of little birds visit. Short walks from the door. Dog friendly. Community bar and coffee shop both with friendly welcoming staff.

The shower in the double bedroom was not clean ,grouting really needs attention ,but there is a shower in the twin room which I used it was a pity cause everything else was fine

The location was excellent everything you could need in the cabin the little cafe/shop was really nice had breakfast there a couple of times ,the walks around the cabin are lovely ,

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There was a folder with instructions for how to use things like the log burner which was very helpful.

Fire pit could be more suitable for barbecue, floor was very squeaky! And also , could be more information about the arrangements of the hot tub, in the booking section!

This place is the perfect escape. The cabin was spacious and very well equipped. There were books and games which came in handy during the rain. We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. The teacakes were a lovely touch to come into and were lovely with a coffee. The hot tub was great and the fact it was raining just made it even better. We will definitely be back.

No curtain over part of window and there was a full moon which made the room very light Could have done with a bigger pan for cooking pasta

Absolutely loved the log cabin , my husband and I took my sister as she was in dire need of a break , We all had an amazing time over the 6 days , I had just retired and it was so good to have a break , Room with double bed is a bit of a tight squeeze , came home with a few bruises from the latch on the bedroom door , Log fire was AMAZING , been to Dalavich 4 times now and still love it , Only down side was the size of the fridge , it was tiny as was the freezer , there was only 3 of us and there wasn’t enough room in the fridge for most of the things we brought , This cabin sleeps 5 , so I can’t imagine where they all store their refrigerated food , All in all , it was an amazing log cabin , we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it

If I had to really complain about something, when cleaning the cabin before we left, we found the rig in the centre of the cabin to not have been moved due to the amount of dust and little bits of mud underneath it. We don’t wear shoes inside our own home, so shoes weren’t inside the cabin. But I loved everything about the cabin and our stay.

Loved the little cabin! Log burner for the bonus! Little essentials left which were handy. Location is spectacular and the grounds were nice to walk the dog around in the mornings.
