Very small kitchenette for a hostel. No proper cooking facilities.

Good price and location handy for John Muir Way. Handy to have access to a fridge. Nice to have a private bathroom/shower. We had a problem with our room which was quickly resolved by text.

The only thing that I could say I didn't like was when I stripped the covers off the bed, I found I'd been sharing my duvet with an earwig. The room was clean, but maybe not one that had been used in a while.

It did exactly what it said on the tin. Perfect for short breaks, or overnight stays. Simple, easy, clean and comfortable. The private room option is perfect for anyone on a budget, not wanting to sleep dorm style. It's location is great, so handy for shops and nightlife.

It was an odd start getting connected with apps on TV, but they sent a housekeeper to assist.

Comfy and clean. Great location right beside the train station and grocery, right down the road from the strip awesome location.

The shower was a wet room, so the whole floor of the bathroom got wet when I had a shower. But that was a minor problem.

It was a very handy location, really close to the station. The room was comfy and practical. I enjoyed my stay.

There was an issue with the toilet and a leaky shower, but the staff were very responsive about getting it sorted and even offered to move us to another room but we were happy to stay where we were. There's only the bathroom mirror and no full length one. The website could do with having a list of the room facilities as there's no hairdryer in the room. Luckily I had called ahead to ask. They were just small niggles really because everything else was great.

Excellent location, free parking, own bathroom. The room was big enough for two to move around without being in each other's way, with two single beds, a single wardrobe each, and a unit with 6 drawers, and a TV on the wall. The train station is only 1 minute away which was brilliant as we had come to see Robbie Williams at Murrayfield, and getting there was a doddle with trains every 15 minutes. Right across the road there is a small shopping centre with a Tesco & Greggs. Other guests leave things in the kitchen which you can use yourself and there was all sorts - bagels, coffee, tea, noodles, even a can of beer and a bottle of wine. There's even a washing machine! Really excellent value.

Would have been nice to have desk and chair and fan in the room. Nil else otherwise.

Cheap and cheerful. Shared kitchen was a nice touch. Room was comfortable but runs very warm. There is a private shower and private bathroom but these are separate to the bedrooms

Can be noisy as other guest are leaving in the morning, if you want to have a sleep in. A larger shared kitchen area would be good.

Return trip to area and had no hesitation in staying at Linlithgow Hostel again. Great location. Close to the train station. Lots of cafes, pubs and supermarkets nearby. Clean room and comfortable beds.

Minor complaint. Shower mechanism. Dripped permanently.flooding the wet room floor, and could not run cold.

Anxiety-inducing late receipt of entry codes. No staff in evidence which keeps costs down but makes for a rather impersonal experience. Badly located (just out of reach) bedside lighting/charging fixtures A squeezable dispenser would have been preferable to old-style soap
