Booked the works balcony, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly on arrival, managed to get us checked in early. Room was spacious and balcony views were wonderful. Incredibly co.fortable bed. Great location for parks and shopping. Highly recommend

Nothing really. The price was higher than normal as we were visiting during Fringe, but that was our choice.

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. Staff were fabulous and allowed us to store our luggage before check in and after check out. Lovely bar area. Room was really clean had everything we needed.

Not being able to stay longer as it was a super room and great location!

This hotel is a gem of a hotel in Edinburgh! The location is super handy and nearby to George Street, Princess Street, St. James Quarter and the Edinburgh trams. The hotel had a quick check in process and all the staff were super friendly! The room we had was excellent, super super clean and a lot larger than most rooms in Edinburgh and with a good size bathroom! The room also has AC (which is very rare in Scotland hotels) which was super handy for when the weather got too hot! I particularly liked the Arran Aromatics Scottish products which are found within the bathrooms and also the fact you can buy these at reception and also that the hotel provides shortbread with tea and coffee, this is a nice touch! The continental breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the food was nice and fresh and was regularly being topped up by the friendly staff.

Awkward shower location. Glass bathroom door and glass shower door are close together, make showering challenging.

Very unique decor! Lovely staff! Great breakfast! Quiet and convenient location near bus station and across from park. Nice restaurants nearby and a nice walk to the old city!

Price Shower. Potentially a great shower but continually overflowed onto bathroom floor carting a health and safety issue. Was reported but nothing was done to fix the problem.

The last few times we visited the hotel had a singer on at night which is great!! Nice continental breakfast too!! Nice atmosphere!

Interior design throughout hotel. Bedroom was small but contained everything needed. Appreciated luggage rack, lots of sockets, quiet bedroom. Well designed en-suite, nice soaps etc. Good shower. Excellent location.

when watching the television in the evening the volume would randomly turn itself down, that was the only thing negative to say about the room

The view from the balcony from the top floor was incredible. The location was good although the fringe festival was on we could hardly hear anything from our room. The wife had the breakfast and she said it was really good
