Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFantastic breakfast at the large kitchen table which was beautifully laid out. It was a superb breakfast. The room was delightful and exceptionally quiet. The hotel had a balcony which was a very relaxing outdoor space and very welcome in the heat. The aircon was a valued bonus. Anne made us very welcome and booked us in at the Indian restaurant Tristans, she even let them know it was my birthday, so they brought a slice of dessert with a candle, nice touches.

AustraliaNothing.
We had 4 fabulous nights at Henry’s. Our room, the Eliza, was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring London. We really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace for a drink and the cooked breakfast from Larry each morning. We actually eloped in London during our stay and the staff were so kind to allow us to take some pics in the hotel and treated us to a bottle of wine. Such special memories at this place which we will hold dearly.

Lots of old world charm, which is rarely experienced these days but that hides the fact that it gives the quests all the modern amenities needed today to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing, including air conditioning which in a London basking in 30 degrees of heat was an absolute life saver!!!!!. Cleanliness was superb, the staff were friendly and attentive, and Anne especially couldn’t do enough to make our stay most enjoyable even to the point of going to a local restaurant and booking our table for the evening while we relaxed after a busy day. Breakfast too was most enjoyable, huge choice and beautifully cooked. All in all a 5 star stay Anne, a big thanks to you and your team.

United StatesThe only complaint I have about this property has nothing to do with this property. From the district where we were staying, to get anywhere plan on at least a 40 minute to 1 hour Uber or cab ride.
What a brilliant hotel, and a lovely part of town away from Central London. The rooms are gorgeously appointed, with luxurious touches such as 300 count thread sheets and the softest towels I've ever had in any hotel that I've ever visited. The amenities at this hotel include home-cooked breakfast every morning by the amazing chef Larry, a buffet of fruits and yogurt, and all the tea or coffee and chocolate you can ever imagine… In the evenings you can have cocktails straight out of your in room refrigerator for free, or you can order drinks from the bar that will be charged to your room. Any request that we had of staff was immediately addressed, with a smile and genuine concern for the well-being of the guests. Beautifully decorated, well appointed rooms including things like 300 count th spreadsheets, luxury bath items, bottled water in the room and a refrigerator stocked with drinks. There are also coffee/tea and snacks available in the room throughout the stay for free. The neighborhood district is lovely with tons of little shops and the great pubs and restaurants. A final note that the hotel manager, Ann Grimes, is an absolute delight! She is warm and inclusive, funny and honest. An absolutely gorgeous human who I now consider a dear friend.

United KingdomWe stayed at Henry’s for our first little trip away from our baby. We actually live in London ourselves but wanted a special stay attending a Hyde Park concert. And, what a special place Henry’s Townhouse is! Anne made our stay truly wonderful. The rooms are so comfy and the house itself is absolutely beautiful. What an amazing little find! Everything in our room was complimentary, we had the most beautiful bath and, had the most amazing full english to sign off our visit. If you are looking to really experience true London, don’t stay in a chain Hotel, stay here! A quintessentially British Townhouse that provides a charm hard to find!

United StatesWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the underground station. The rooms are uniquely and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous—freshly prepared by the chef and a real highlight of our stay. Most of all, the staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

United StatesThere was absolutely nothing that I didn’t like about this property. From the moment you walk into the door, the staff greets you, assists you with whatever you need, and gives you a tour. And it never stops being that great. United StatesThe townhouse is located in a busy area, with restaurants and pubs nearby. As a light sleeper, I had to wear both earplugs and noise cancelling headphones to block the sound of people partying at nearby pubs at night. To be clear, there was no noise from the interior of the building, just the surrounding neighborhood.
Warm welcome, lovely restored building, beautiful furnishings, attentive staff, in a great location.

United StatesWish the bed and room chairs would have been more comfortable. The bathroom, although luxurious and unique, was difficult to use. For example, the stand-alone tub/shower combo, although beautiful, was awkward to use.
Love the atmosphere and attention to detail. It feels like you've stepped into another time period. Wonderful experience and a fantastic location! The downstairs kitchen and breakfast were an absolute thrill. The staff is all incredibly friendly and helpful!

Cyprus-
Many thanks to Ann for the top-level hospitality. I was very warmly welcomed. They asked me what I was interested in. In 30 minutes, they prepared a detailed report at my request and sent it to me by email. I was introduced to other guests from Scotland. Ann took into account all the wishes for breakfast (there were berries, fruits and perfect serving). These guys are obsessed with cleanliness, and I really liked it. I slept well. The air was fresh, low in CO2, and had a wonderful atmosphere in the city center
