United KingdomLoved everything this hotel had to offer The location was great, 10 min walk from the high street, the bus stop and the train station. Andrew and Joanne made us so welcome and the meet at the station and cup of tea on arrival was the start of a wonderful stay. We liked the sustainability ethos and it did not compromise the comfort and luxury feel. Breakfast range was huge and set us up for the day after having had a good night's sleep in a very comfortable bed.

Breakfasts were exceptional; plenty of other choices than the usual Full English. Location within easy walking distance of centre and restaurants. We had a walk-in shower which was very good.

Very cosy and clean bed and breakfast. Excellent breakfast with abundant choices and everything freshly prepared. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There is also a nice garden outside where you sit (if weather allows).

The owners were warm and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and a short walking distance to Shanklin centre, but there are bus stops right by the hotel if walking isn’t your thing. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Beautiful garden to sit in.

Our party of four arrived at this lovely hotel mid afternoon with the offer of a refreshing cuppa in the lounge while our bags were taken to our room, this was nice as we are all in our autumn years. Our first impressions were that the place was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated and our opinions didn’t change. The breakfast menu is huge, from fruit and cereals to full English and beyond. All of it served at our table and delicious. Our hosts could not do enough for us and we can’t recommend Foxhills of Shanklin highly enough
