Although breakfast is lovely, there is very little choice especially with hot food, only boiled eggs and toasted available. Rooms are clean but very tired looking. The whole place needs an update.

Location is very good. Frequent bus to central Oxford beside accommodation.

The place seemed a little dated and jaded. Seemed really attractive to spiders ie loads of cobwebs. When I reported it the spiders were evicted but the cobwebs remained. Small under the counter fridge fell off the shelf when the door was opened and the front of the shower dial fell off too. When I reported both it seemed they were already aware but we're doing nothing about it. Limited breakfast (particularly for what we paid) continental ± boiled eggs and toast but plenty of cereal, fruit and yoghurt.

Toilet was a bit confusing to flush.

It was great that they provided breakfast. Location was quiet and convenient. It was great that we could check in early and drop our bags off.

Water flow in shower very poor - barely a trickle at times. Wifi for TV extremely intermittent and programmes continually cutting out. Mobile & ipad worked ok. Key access by owner not secure. Instructions stated 'key under mat' in a notice on the entrance with one key available to open both the front door and bedroom meaning anyone could enter the property and also have access to all the bedrooms.

Comfortable accommodation. Excellent service from Sue who worked wonders (alone during our stay) making a lovely breakfast and generally being very helpful, especially with providing information about travelling into Oxford town centre by bus instead of by car to avoid expense of parking etc. Town centre was extremely busy with many tourists. All cafes were full!

Nice bnb with good beds and breakfast. Ideal for visiting Oxford. City centre easily reachable with the bus so you can leave your car at the bnb

Unfortunately the beds really are showing their age. The box beds squeak quite loudly and on one side of the bed it was quite recessed, so the bed dipped down at the edges. Also the pillows were extremely flat. A refresh of the beds and pillows is needed.

Great location near bus stops with easy access to the city centre! A quaint property. Lovely breakfast.

Dip in the floor that made me fall over Breakfast not what you'd expect from a 4 star. Was told on email after booking that it was continental only but boiled eggs and beans available. Asked for beans but was given a curt "no" as though I were daft asking so didn't push it. Continental breakfast was juice, fresh fruit, yoghurts and basic selection of cereals. Fruit was nice but wasn't very filling for a big day ahead and would expect cooked options and have had so in lower star places.

Toast was very good. The owner Mark was very friendly. I arrived in late afternoon and could not find anyone in the B&B, which was a bit difficult especialy I could not find a kettle in my room. It took me two days to actually get a kettle in my room

A small gripe. The room was so hot when trying to sleep. I had a wet towel over my legs to try and cool down. There should have been a fan provided. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Staff very nice
