A more securely closing/locking door on the en suite would have been a welcome addition, but that's nit-picking, it's lovely characterful accommodation. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Very welcoming, beautifully decorated and it was such a nice touch to be welcomed with hot drinks and cake and access to these in the lounge area during our stay.

You will never find a better host than Michael: gentle, available, professional, incredibly helpful, attentive to every detail, full of interesting stories, a good chef, funny, make you feel immediately welcome. Not just as a host but a genuinely lovely person who cares about the comfort and the happiness of the guess. The place is very nice and in a good position. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast room was full of interesting things. Our experience was above and beyond our expectation.

One small thing. My room was close to the breakfast room and this was a little noisy in the early morning.

Michael was very welcoming. House was interesting and very clean. Facilities in room were great. Although I didn’t stay for breakfast, I was offered refreshments and everything was nice.

Walls are a bit thin - we could hear our neighbours and were conscious they could hear us, but we brought earplugs so slept pretty well anyway!

Quirky style, mix of traditional features and modern facilities all done very tastefully. Hosts were both extremely friendly and helpful and there was a homely, relaxed atmosphere.

There wasn't anything we didn't like that we can think of.

Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic hospitality from the host, very personal touch. Michael was so friendly and helpful; he gave us lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. There was always plenty of coffee and cake available in the lounge and Michael even gave us a bottle of Prosecco on the house on the evening we arrived which was a lovely gesture. There was also ample free parking close by which was helpful. Also having the option of being able to use the fridge in the lounge to chill drinks was handy.

Super breakfast. Exceptionally attentive staff. Michael was amazing and booked us an evening meal in a local restaurant and found us a pub for watching the Women’s Euro Final- nothing was too much trouble. The rooms have been renovated to a very high standard with exquisite bathrooms

Cosy place tucked away, great location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside, but close drive for plenty of excursions. Michael and Lisa were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.

Loved the spacious family room, large shower room and comfy guest lounge/breakfast room. Our grandkids appreciated the chocolate cake and orange juice on arrival as we did the tea and coffee. Very friendly hospitable host. Above a lovely gallery the owner’s wife offers art workshops… good luck with this venture. In a lovely part of the world!

For the service and friendliness and state of the rooms I would have expected to pay more. The owners were so accommodating nd friendly and bet over backwards for us. Th room were finished to a high standard and there was a lovely lounge to sit in too. It was right in the centre of the town with easy parking right outside.
