Family accommodation, accommodating for children. It was a great rooms are bigger and good. Kitchen and living area decorated, we had great three nights in the house. It was a bit cold at night. There is no heating in some of the rooms.

Property is good just wear and tear in some Carpet, the bed for kids is good for adults not so great

Space and the building was a lovely old traditional house. Location to Edinburgh was very good.

Oven did not work, took over an hour to try and cook a Pizza that would normally take 25 mins and it still was not cooked properly, even though the oven goes on and feels like it is heating up it does not retain any temprature to cook. Doors and windows not cleaned , can understand the windows as these are old and big but the doors where dirty with a lot of dust that has accumulated . No plug in sink so when trying to shave in mornings could only use Hot water which is to hot to use direct to face. No cold water in Sink, cold water tap not working. Beds could do with a mattress protectors and pillows could do with updating. Even though there was so much space in building and all the rooms nowhere was there a dinning table and chairs we could all use to sit down and have meals. Some of the DIY done has taken away from the visual beauty of the house as wires poked through ceiling and a hole in floor (bedroom) where other maintenae work had been done, this could easily be covered over.

Spacious and quite. Easy access to a7 . Exceptional grandeur but rather shabby .

This is a 4 bed property. There is not enough crockery to Carter for a large group, cups were chipped. Someone else has complained about the lack Of a dining table and I agree. The games and puzzles were a mess. Seen a lot better. Had to ask for one of the doors to be locked as it accessed most of the building and allowed access or is. It would help if you clearly mark what doors are to be used for bedrooms. As a bedroom is on the ground floor you would in this modern day expect a shower/ toilet on the same floor. Did not notice until the next evening the tv had No aerial or plug socket. So it should not be listed . When I asked this to the caretaker (accidentally switched his wi fi off ) . No action was taken. Rooms were very cold. Heating not Working and shower pressure was not great.
