Reviews of Zedwell Capsule Hotel Piccadilly Circus

I was there for 4 nights, and on the fourth night, when I arrived at my capsule, I found my lock broken and the door open. Luckily, I had all my valuables with me, and the thief didn’t take anything Also, the bathrooms were filthy, and no papers. You can not adjust the temperature of the water in the showers, and there is only one button to turn the water on.

Fabulous and comfortable private accom. The fact I spent the previous week in dodgy hostel accom meant this private haven was well appreciated. Lockable pods with air con and great lighting in the heart of Londinium What more could one ask for?

The showers could have a slightly longer timer. 20 secs is not long enough to get shampoo out of your eyes. Apart from that, very clean and plenty of cubicles of both varieties

The location is amazing and the capsule was more spacious than I thought. The bed was comfortable, there are lots of toilets and showers available. Capsules really did give a privacy. I‘d stay again.

There is no place where one can put the luggage unless you sleep with the luggage in the capsule. One of the elevators broke down when I was there. There is only almost boiling hot water in the sinks, that‘s terrible as it meant there was no way to use it as drinking water.

Pod was comfortable and not claustrophobic.

Every time someone went to the toilet in the night the door from our room banged. It should be made to close quietly. I didn't get much quality sleep

Shower not amazing but for the price it’s ok !

Sound proof. Clean comfortable bed. Staff were helpful as they changed my capsule quickly due to a technical fault.

There were blocked sinks once. Less place for luggage storage.

The only good thing was that the actual pod space was quite comfy and the central location. There was also one security guard who was very friendly

I HAVE A LIST (and I’m not normally a picky person at all or write reviews when I have a bad experience but omg do NOT stay here. and keep in mind, I’ve been staying at hostels for 2 months straight before this - which were nice and fun - so this was meant to be a little bit more luxurious… it wasn’t) - no drinkable water in the whole place (I asked the staff and she told me to just go to a nearby restaurant and ask for water…) I had to buy a 5 pound bottle of water at 11pm at night - all the taps and showers are the same exact temp (scalding hot) you can’t adjust it - there is ZERO luggage storage space in the rooms. Unless you have a small bag you can keep in your pod, you have to leave it outside in a tiny hallway area (plus I don’t want a dirty bag on the same small bed with me) - You can’t leave your luggage there before or after checking without paying a 15 pound fee (you’re better to use a nearby luggage storage place) - Some of the staff didn’t have a great attitude - The elevators took forever and I didn’t realise there was stairs until the last day because none of the doors were labelled - The bathroom space wasn’t the cleanest (there was a clump of hair sitting in the sink for like two days straight) - There’s no common spaces or kitchen areas if you wanted to store food or eat food in the building - At one point the key cards didn’t work bc they were doing some construction and I had to wait for ages to get into the room

The location is perfect, right in the heart of London. The hostel itself is still having some construction work done but the rooms were clean, quiet & super comfortable. The capsules had everything you could need & the staff were helpful. I was traveling for work and this place was perfect for me. I can't wait to come back!

My only criticism is that the female only rooms seem to be double the price
