The room was very warm in the unseasonably hot weather and took time to air with front and patio doors open. When we checked out, we found a standing fan in the wardrobe. If only we'd spotted it sooner. No breakfast option.

Great location, looking out to the top end of Loch Fyne. Just what we needed after a long drive from southern England. The menu has changed since we looked at the Web site. The Indian dishes being served to the guests looked and smelled fanatic.

No breakfast, difficult to get into the pub on arrival. But they're lovely guys, trying to do something here. Great value.

We booked the best room which strangely wasn't the one with the outside space which we'd expected.. Staff were lovely though and went and prepared a different room for us which had the outside space. Beautiful location.

Initial impressions not great - but keep an open mind and you'll love it. Raita with curry was awful - hopefully they listened to our feedback.

Lovely location at the end of Loch Fyne. Staff were fantastic - so welcoming. Hotel can best be described as quirky! It's obviously seen better days but it would take a massive budget to get it back to its former glory. Only curry served in restaurant which was excellent (mostly). Bed was comfy with nice linen. I was a bit worried when we pulled up outside but I loved it. Would definitely come back.

The Inn has just reopened under new management. At the moment the place is pretty tired. The decor is old, the place needs to be updated. It would not have suited my wife. However I'm sure the new team will make it a really nice place. So take a risk and give them a chance, the location is special.

The staff were very friendly The Inn offers good Indian food. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable.

Lovely location on the side of the Loch , plenty room to park our car. We were greeted by very friendly staff and we weee asked if we would like a drink before going to the room. I had a very nice pint of Guinness . We were shown to our room by a staff member which was nice, the room was clean , spacious and comfy.

Terrible experience. Tommy was very nice, but could not make up for the fact that this hotel is a total rip off and not somewhere that I would recommend. The first room twin we had smelt of smoking (on the curtains, bedding, towels etc), and one of the beds had such an angle to the mattress that I felt as if I was rolling out of the bed when I lay down. The beds were way too soft and just generally uncomfortable. The wifi did not work. And there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night. Then we were moved rooms. The room we were moved to had not been cleaned, the toilet was dirty, and the bedding was dirty. This was rectified once we complained. We could feel the springs through the mattresses on both beds and they were extremely uncomfortable. The wifi still did not work. Tommy put a new booster outside the room, but we still could not get any wifi at all. The room was dirty and all of the hotel needs updating. There is wallpaper peeling off the walls and no effort has been made to clean the place and make it look fresh.

The location on the side of the loch is beautiful. But this was a terrible stay. I hope in the future they can completely renovate this inn because it could be lovely.

The toilet had hard poop encrusted to it. It would have been nice to have a robe in the room and a shower cap.

The staff was fantastic. They made me a special meal for my dog and myself.

Just a couple of things really. As great as the room was, we felt like it could have done with a bit more of TLC. The TV on the wall was plugged into an extension lead that was hanging down. The travel kettle supplied had seen better days and could do with replacing. The shower wasn't great. I noticed that there was a constant leak from the bottom of the shower unit, which a quick search informed me that it's a PRD issue. Lastly, a bit of a welcome pack in the room, with check out times, WiFi passwords, local attractions, would have been nice. But knowing that the hotel is under new management, I totally understand that the team is finding their feet. My 'negative' review is merely me nitpicking a stay that made us fall in love with Cairndow.

When checking in, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our room (by Jack, I think it was?) and when we opened the door we were amazed. A very spacious and large room, with a large King sized bed that was just very comfortable. The bathroom was quite large too. However, we had the double room with a balcony and the view of Loch Fyne was absolutely stunning. We also booked a table in the restaurant for our evening meal. I was in contact with the staff at the hotel beforehand (Tommy was phenomenal), and I'll admit, when I saw that it was Indian cuisine, my expectations were quite low, thinking that it'd be predominantly microwave cuisine ala Whetherspoons. I was glad to be absolutely wrong. I was raised in a part of the world where in a 5 mile radius, I had about 30 fantastic Indian restaurants/desi pubs, where the food was phenomenal. We ordered Fish Pakora, Chicken Chat to start with, and Chicken Tikka Korma, Lamb Jalfrezi madras, Garlic Naan, pilau rice, and chips. The food that we had at the Stagecoach Inn was probably one of the best I've ever had. I don't like Kormas but the one my partner ordered was just full of flavour. The kitchen staff needs all the praise here, as well as the staff at the inn. We felt that if the inn was in a busier location, that the place would be heaving. Other reviews mentioned that the bar, and restaurant felt dated. Maybe, but we felt like it added to the charm of the inn.We absolutely loved the place and definitely will be back.

The food was nice but only limited to Indian cuisine. So if you are there a few nights curry every night is not for all.

The property is dated and unclean

I think some “pub food” on the menu would be good. If I was staying 2 or 3 nights I may want a change from curry.

Reception was handled by Tommy. Great character and he was happy to chat and get us a drink. The sun was out so sitting in the garden was great. We were surprised by the menu for evening meal, as it was Indian Curries. Fortunately, we both love them and honestly, they were up there with the best I have had.
