How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was a rare smell as if someone was smoking and I went trough the AC. The next day someone came to look at it. After that the smell was less but still at some point if my friend and I came back from outside we’ll smell it. For my friend she’s very sensitive it wasn’t that great of an experience but we did enjoyed our stay😊

The breakfast could be improved with more variety to better cater to the diverse range of guests.
Great location and overall a very comfortable hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Hüseyin for his outstanding support and kindness, and to Paula at the reception for her cheerful attitude. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The room was in two levels, the bathroom was many steps upper than the bedroom. Some noise from other rooms and corridors.
Location was good close to Hyde Park, restaurants and 2 underground stations. Quite many options at breakfast (toast, beans, bacon, eggs, fruits, croisants, yoghourt)

We arrived the hotel when the elevator was broken and had to climb up to the sixth floor three days. Tired. The elevator was fixed just before we left 😂 room is a bit small.
Service is good, staffs are helpful! Restaurant onsite is very good both service and the food! Room clean and comfortable. Location is quiet and safe

more hanging space in the bathroom would be helpful, more food alternatives in case of allergies (choices of milk, gluten-free choices) would be helpful.
Excellent location close to Hyde Park, Paddington and Notting Hill. Easy and quick check-in and check-out, well-sized room and functional bathroom, enough storage space, very nice breakfast room and terrasse.

Our bed had cookie or some kind of crumbs underneath the sheet on mattress.
Great location. Got an upgrade which was lovely. Fab breakfast.

The only negative I found this time was the breakfast. Although good selection if you were down early we were a bit later one morning about 9.15 and they didn’t appear to have restocked some of the items. Also not very warm!
This is the second time we have stayed here. Location good. Love the outside space which you don’t see much in London. Also the room size was great.

Noise of train station, the automatic doors in the halls..it was difficult with the stroller, also one left was working and it didnt work in our last day we used the stairs...breakfast was not that good

There was no elevator
It’s nice and cozy room great location the room serves didn’t provide a WC slipper but the mostly i like it they have bidet in WC

The internet in the room was very weak, but it worked perfectly at the reception.

The elevator was out the entire stay. We were on the 6th floor. The staff took our luggage up and down for our stay.which was great. Luckily, my friend and I were fit enough to tackle the stairs each night coming back from excursions, etc.. It's part of traveling it's now a funny memory 😄 A comped dinner would have been nice.
The location was great. The rooms were good. The food at the restaurant was good. The staff was friendly.

Only that on this occasion the lift wasn’t working though they gave us free breakfast because of it
