The rooms were quite dusty and the tea and coffee was very basic. Breakfast was toast and jam along with a hot drink. Which were great, but there was nothing else on offer.

Peaceful place to stop off before heading to the shuttle. Had a good sleep, which was what we were after.

This was a one night stopover for us en route to Calais. It is in a charming location and run by Martine who looked after us very well. We travelled with our 9 year old granddaughter and shared a 2 bedroom apartment which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good traditional French and included a choice of Martine's excellent home made jam (we brought one home!). It suited us well but we didn't explore the local area for which it would be a good base. The nearest cafe /restaurants /McDonalds etc are 2 to 3 miles away on the edge of St Omer.

There was nothing I did not like. I would just emphasise to fellow pilgrims to let the host know in advance if you would require them to provide dinner as there are no restaurants nearby.

I’m walking the via Francigena and every place I standout far has made me feel welcomed, but this one was above expectations. I truly felt like a welcomed family guest, while sat and watched the host’s grandkids play a board game and we chat about the route. A homemade meal offered to pilgrims and delicious breakfast made it even more special. I cannot thank the host enough.

A private house with good carparking. Nice host, but as I didn't speak much French, conversation was limited. Breakfast was adequate. Bedroom was clean and functional with en suite facilities and a comfortable bed. Quiet and peaceful place.

My sat nav directed us to a nearby Gites rather than to the correct house.

The welcome from the owner and her family was warm and wonderful. The house was perfectly situated for our needs, and the bedroom comfortable and had a beautiful decor. The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this property for a short stay.

Just to note - no bath in the bathroom. No lock on the bedroom door. Breakfast was fine but small: bread, jam, coffee, juice.

Everything was great

Martine is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful, putting together an evening meal for us at short notice, which was much appreciated given how much driving we'd done from the east of France to get there. The setting is very quiet and we slept really well, the family room was ideal for our needs. The home made jams were a treat with our breakfast croissants.
